You’ll have more than enough room for storage with eight internal 3.5-inch bays. Adding new drives is a breeze with the included HDD cage that holds up to eight drives and easily unscrews for quick removal.

The Solano 1000 is constructed from Japanese SECC for extra durability and features a metal mesh front for optimal air flow. For card and CPU cooling, the side panel houses a blue LED 230mm intake fan and the two blue LED 140mm fans on the front panel cool HDDs. The top panel 230mm blue LED fan and the rear 120mm fan vent heat to minimize system slowdown.

Push your rig to the limit with water cooling. Holes are predrilled in the rear panel for external radiator installation. When not in use, rubber grommets keep the dust out. The Solano 1000’s tool-free design makes adding drives and expansion cards a snap with thumb screws so you can get back to into the fight fast. 4 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Good fit n finish. Cool LED stuff, easy to maintain wiring.

Cons: Some parts of fragile. Must purchase replacement parts directly from Azza

Other Thoughts: I've been using this case for years, and it has seen a few upgrades, which means removing all of the old components and putting in new ones. This process has been a breeze every time. The case is very easy to tear down to clean, most of the screws do not even require tools. the LEDs are awesome looking, and the case comes stock with some good fans, making it heat efficient. Totally worth the price with the rebate. My only issue is, the top piece that is removable is very easy to break, you have to be careful with it. Even though mine has broke, the case still goes together fine, just when you remove the front panel, the top panel wants to come off so watch out for that!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very spacious case, easily fit an H100 cpu cooler on the top with no clearance issues.
Great look and decent LED fans stock
Plenty of room to expand with front drives, fan controllers etc. Removable HDD sections with there own fan mounts for cooling
Front panel has 3 easy access USB's and audio inputs
Overall great case

Cons: 240mm fans have molex connectors vs 3/4 pin and top has a low/high toggle which is uneeded imo. just more cable to route around.

Backside panel needs just a little more room for heavy duty PSU cables routing to MB, mine was always bulged in the middle and hard to get on.

I had an issue with the audio plugins on front, the wore out within the first 6 months due to the connection on the little board behind them. But may have just been my luck.

Other Thoughts: I had this case for 3 years and just now decided to update to a mid tower for space reasons. It looks great, has great potential for just about anything you want to throw in it!

5 out of 5 eggsEasy to work with

Pros: Comes with detailed instructions, plenty of spare screws, fdd support, optical drive support, 5 installed fans, good cable management, and looks really cool without being over the top. 3 USB outlets in front that all work and a headphone/mic jack in front as well.

Cons: Three of the fans do not support PWM.

Other Thoughts: Three of these fans mate with a male or female 4-pin Molex connector and have 2 wires attached to each of them. Two of the fans have 3 wires connected to a female 3-pin fan connector including a tachometer. The way I configured it with my ASUS 97-PRO mobo was to buy three 4-pin Molex to female 3-pin fan connectors, three 3-pin fan extension cables, and one 3-pin fan y splitter cable with.

Simply connect the molex fan connectors to the molex to 3 pin adapter, then attach each one to a FAN outlet on the mobo. This allows the mobo to control the speed of the fans. The alternative is to plug these fans straight into a molex outlet into the PSU, which I didn't want because the fans would be constantly running. There is a switch on the back of the computer that allows you to choose how fast they spin.

For the two fans in front, they have female 3-pin connections by default plugged into a molex adapter. Simply remove these adapters and plug the female 3-pin fan plugs into the Y splitter and attach the other end to the mobo. That outlet you can run using PWM and a tachometer will measure your RPM provided you use the right y-splitter to connect them to the mobo.

While my mobo has 4 pin fan connections, 3 pin fan connections will work just fine.

3 out of 5 eggsOwned this case for a while.

Pros: Great case at the time of purchase. I was happy with this case for almost 5 years. Purchased 05/23/2010.

Cons: As I upgraded through the years it's been able to keep up for the most part,.
I'm running two 280X the case doesn't allow for one of my cards to be placed in the lower PCIe slot. The card would rest on top of the PSU. One of my card is running 20º hotter because they are closer together (Yes I know one card will run hotter in SLI/CF). The mobo tray doesn't allow for you to access the back of the motherboard. I had to disassemble in order to install a water cooler. I also had to mount the side fan outside the case.

Other Thoughts: 4 Eggs when I purchased
3 Eggs with my current configuration.

4 out of 5 eggsNice starter case

Pros: This case was part of my first build. I originally used two gtx 660's which this case had plenty of room for. Seems very sturdy. Can't find much wrong with the quality. Decently priced

Cons: Hard drive cages. Ughhh I hate hard drive cages. They're secured with a total of 8 thumb screws, and a total of 2 cages. Every time I wanted to make adjustments to them, i had to remove 16 screws!

Other Thoughts: I used this case for several months before deciding I wanted one that was a bit easier to modify. Was a good case just didn't suit my needs. knocked off 1 egg for the hard drive cage screws.

3 out of 5 eggslooks good plays great but....

Pros: looks great and houses all my parts near perfectly. relatively silent and makes for a great AC and air purifier. keeps my internal parts nice and cold and has increased my PCs speed greatly.

Cons: my only real con is that almost all of the power plugs from the case fans were bent, dented, and even a pin broke off. I had to replace two of the fans because of this.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Lots of fans with a adjustable speed switch for the top fan on the back of the case.

Plenty of space inside and some space in the side panel for cable management.

Pretty easy to take the top off to access the big fan.

Good solid feet with rubber soles on the bottom of the case. Gives plenty of room for the PSU to breathe, about an inch.

Cons: Not that good of a dust filtration for the big fans.

Does not come with a mount or an adapter for SSD's so make sure you have one handy.

The top fan screws are hard to reach on the inside of the case when the motherboard was already installed, plan ahead.

Other Thoughts: Really happy with this case, had to upgrade after buying a better graphics card because it would not fit in the old case.

Nice that you can see into the computer and see the hardware.

Almost all the fans have blue LEDs on them which is a nice effect.
Front panels have a mesh on the inside that gives decent dust filtering.

Cons were not bad enough to take off eggs.
