Build the ultimate gaming rig with the Solano 1000 by AZZA. This full tower case can accommodate Micro ATX and ATX motherboards. You’ll have more than enough room for storage with eight internal 3.5-inch bays. Adding new drives is a breeze with the included HDD cage that holds up to eight drives and easily unscrews for quick removal.

The Solano 1000 is constructed from Japanese SECC for extra durability and features a metal mesh front for optimal air flow. For card and CPU cooling, the side panel houses a blue LED 230mm intake fan and the two blue LED 140mm fans on the front panel cool HDDs. The top panel 230mm blue LED fan and the rear 120mm fan vent heat to minimize system slowdown.

Push your rig to the limit with water cooling. Holes are predrilled in the rear panel for external radiator installation. When not in use, rubber grommets keep the dust out. The Solano 1000’s tool-free design makes adding drives and expansion cards a snap with thumb screws so you can get back to into the fight fast. 3 out of 5 eggsOwned this case for a while.

Pros: Great case at the time of purchase. I was happy with this case for almost 5 years. Purchased 05/23/2010.

Cons: As I upgraded through the years it's been able to keep up for the most part,.
I'm running two 280X the case doesn't allow for one of my cards to be placed in the lower PCIe slot. The card would rest on top of the PSU. One of my card is running 20º hotter because they are closer together (Yes I know one card will run hotter in SLI/CF). The mobo tray doesn't allow for you to access the back of the motherboard. I had to disassemble in order to install a water cooler. I also had to mount the side fan outside the case.

Other Thoughts: 4 Eggs when I purchased
3 Eggs with my current configuration.

4 out of 5 eggsNice starter case

Pros: This case was part of my first build. I originally used two gtx 660's which this case had plenty of room for. Seems very sturdy. Can't find much wrong with the quality. Decently priced

Cons: Hard drive cages. Ughhh I hate hard drive cages. They're secured with a total of 8 thumb screws, and a total of 2 cages. Every time I wanted to make adjustments to them, i had to remove 16 screws!

Other Thoughts: I used this case for several months before deciding I wanted one that was a bit easier to modify. Was a good case just didn't suit my needs. knocked off 1 egg for the hard drive cage screws.

3 out of 5 eggslooks good plays great but....

Pros: looks great and houses all my parts near perfectly. relatively silent and makes for a great AC and air purifier. keeps my internal parts nice and cold and has increased my PCs speed greatly.

Cons: my only real con is that almost all of the power plugs from the case fans were bent, dented, and even a pin broke off. I had to replace two of the fans because of this.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Lots of fans with a adjustable speed switch for the top fan on the back of the case.

Plenty of space inside and some space in the side panel for cable management.

Pretty easy to take the top off to access the big fan.

Good solid feet with rubber soles on the bottom of the case. Gives plenty of room for the PSU to breathe, about an inch.

Cons: Not that good of a dust filtration for the big fans.

Does not come with a mount or an adapter for SSD's so make sure you have one handy.

The top fan screws are hard to reach on the inside of the case when the motherboard was already installed, plan ahead.

Other Thoughts: Really happy with this case, had to upgrade after buying a better graphics card because it would not fit in the old case.

Nice that you can see into the computer and see the hardware.

Almost all the fans have blue LEDs on them which is a nice effect.
Front panels have a mesh on the inside that gives decent dust filtering.

Cons were not bad enough to take off eggs.

2 out of 5 eggsBroken, cheap

Pros: Large size, good air flow

Cons: Lots here. No dust filtration what so ever, the dust was just thrown into the case from every fan slot, despite me taking an extremely positive air pressure setup. Drive cages are old styled, and inconvenient to use, and not modular in any way, does no deserve this price point. The front panel is the flimsiest thing I've ever encountered, the case was dropped about 12 inches onto it's feet, and the front panel was demolished. The plastic screw holders snapped on the panel itself, and all of the 5 1/4inch grills snapped and flap around all willy nilly. After just 2 years, the fans degraded severely, and are very loud.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the price, this should be a $60 case at the most.

2 out of 5 eggsTerrible, Not worth the cost

Pros: -Clean design
-Easy access to components

Cons: -Flimsy
-Poorly made
-Weak, vague instructions
-Cheap and absolutely awful components. Parts of the case came broken or worn

Other Thoughts: Absolutely the worst case I've bought. I've built dozens and dozens of computers, and this was just the absolute worst. The designed was small and cramped (even for a Full-Size case). The components were held together with plastic which sheered almost immediately. The placement of the 140mm fan slots were awful. Will definitely not buy from this company again.

3 out of 5 eggsALMOST great

Pros: - Good air flow
- room for h100i
- Tons of external 5.25"-ers
- Front ports
- Solid

Cons: - Side fan dips in to case
- Cable man depth behind board
- HDD Cages take up 4.5 5.25" bays!
- Missing pieces
- Lacking dust filters

Other Thoughts: First, azza is CRAZY for killing off the Fusion 3000. It can't be found and that case was awesome!!

This thing is almost a home run. My primary need was at least 4 hot swap HDD bays so I added a 4 x 3.5/2.5" hot swap rack which takes up 3 5.25" bays. I needed a case with a lot of 5.25" bays for this, then DVD burner, etc, so this fits the bill well! There's an adapter for EVERYTHING you can imagine for 5.25" bays.

As many have said, the side fan annoyingly dips in to the case. This can cause collisions. Use a liquid cooler and you're fine. My GPUs' power cables came awfully close.

The area behind the board, for running cables, needs to be about 25% deeper to be perfect. I have to press a bit to get it closed.

I'm not an LED guy but the lit fans do look pretty good. Easy enough to kill if you want. This thing really should have dust filters too!

The drive cages are nice except they take up about 4.5 5.25" bays for some reason so you end up wasting a couple of your 5.25s. I ripped em both out and am using hot swap bays anyway.

All in all its a good case, at least for what I need it for. I bought one for my personal rig to test it out for the pro builds I was doing but there's better cases for a home/gaming rig IMO.

I have 2 R9 270s in mine, which are 10" long. I think if you got around 11" long on your card it would be pretty darn tight.
