The QNAP TS-101 is a multi-function single drive NAS appliance designed to make your life easier. The internal bay accepts a 3.5" SATA hard drive and the three USB 2.0 ports can handle printers, external hard drives or other USB enabled storage media. There is also an eSATA port for additional storage.
With functionality as a standard file server (Microsoft networks (CIFS/Samba), Apple (AFP), Internet (HTTP), Secure internet (HTTPS) protocols) or an FTP server as well as a print server (through a USB port), a UPnP multimedia server gives you plenty of bang for your buck.
SATA Hard Drive SupportThe QNAP TS-101 features an internal 3.5" SATA drive bay for up to 750GB storage capacity with extendibility to 1.5TB via the eSATA or USB port. The SATA (Serial ATA) interface delivers an ultra-fast speed of 1.5Gbps.
Ultra-fast eSATA InterfaceThe QNAP TS-101 features an eSATA interface for up to 3Gb/s data transfer speed (six times faster than the high-speed USB 2.0 port!)
Three USB 2.0 PortsWith the QNAP TS-101's three USB 2.0 ports, add extra external USB hard drives for expanded networked storage or backup, and attach and share a USB printer over the network, too!
