1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT USE THIS SELLER

Pros: .

Cons: CORN took almost 2 months to send me a logitech g500. Once it finally arrived and I plugged it in...it was broken. They sent me a broken mouse. Now for the return, and I bet this will be just as terrible service.

Other Thoughts: Terrible company. No communication, no help, sent me a broken product. Don't use corn

4 out of 5 eggsNice mouse, just not for me

Pros: I have a palm/claw type grip, and thought this was what I was looking for, but I just couldn't keep using it. The design and features are nice. The side grip texture is pretty good for sweaty hands.

Cons: The 3 thumb buttons are too close together. I could never confidently click one. This isn't for claw grips.

Other Thoughts: I replaced this with a Razer Deathadder Black Edition, and love it, although the scroll wheel has started acting up, as they always do. I prefer the overall texture of the Razer for my sweaty hands, as well.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat while it lasted

Pros: Best mouse I have owned thus far. Great feel. Found my ideal weight. Plenty of buttons. Overall just a great feeling, easy to use/program mouse.

Cons: Durability. My right click has started to fail. I am able to click, but the click loses connection - unable to drag windows/files, enlarge windows to a custom size, or even burst fire with weapons in games.

I live with my SO who does not use my machine and no pets and I keep very good care of my hardware so I am sad at how easily this mouse has failed.

Buyer beware. You may only get a good 1.5 - 2 years out of this mouse if you get a one like mine. If you are one of the lucky ones that gets to use this mouse for 4+ years, I am jealous of you.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost 5 yrs of Gaming

Pros: On-the-fly res change, ergo, rubber grip on sides never get slick or wear down, switching wheel between free-spin and incremental scrolling, flat scroll wheel with rubber/textured center, 3 thumb buttons easy to tell apart, weight system, software makes customization of buttons and resolutions simple.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have no idea what people are doing to these mice to break them. I suspect getting killed in FPS's and taking it out on their kb/mouse. I have 3 of these mice, 2 over 3yrs old and 1 is almost 5 yrs old and all have absolutely no issues. I use an extra large low friction cloth gaming pad with all of mine and keep everything very clean. I liked this mouse so much I replaced the two at work with these at my own expense. All 3 have a lot of life left in the Teflon pads also. The cords haven't even hardened up like my G5 did over time. Only the 5yr old cord has any sign of fraying and it is very slight right where it rubs the edge of the mouse pad. I have played BF3 and 4, CoD, multiple MMO's as well as every zombie game/mod so the 5 yr old one has been used plenty.

2 out of 5 eggsWent out after a year

Pros: Great feel and weight, perfect amount of buttons on the side for a FPS player, and love the DPI settings.

Cons: The mouse went out after a year of use, mouse keeps just shutting off after about a minute of use. I tried fixes on line, like updating audio drivers, but it didn't work. I put in another mouse and it works just fine. Hopefully I can get a RMA from logitech, but not expecting it.

Other Thoughts: This used to be my favorite mouse, I have owned 2 and the first one never gave me problems, but when I gave it to a friend he said it went out after a month.

4 out of 5 eggsGood gaming device

Pros: It's highly sensitive and accurate. I've used it playing several different games and have always been pleased with its performance. I added all the weights and it hasn't added to any fatigue and it's seemed to have tamed the twitchiness a bit. I love the velocity adjustment and the ability to add clicks to the scroll wheel.

Cons: The wire covering unravelled very quickly, exposing the wire underneath. There's a portion of my wire covered with black electrical tape where the covering frayed. It was rather upsetting to have spent as much as I did on this mouse only to have it diminished by that fraying.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the frayed covering, it's great in every other way.

4 out of 5 eggsLove

Pros: Great overall feel
Durability (for the most part)
Lots of buttons
On the fly DPI settings
Strong chassis
Assortment of weights

4.25 out of 5

Cons: Only con is with the worn wire.

The wire has some kind of braided material wrapped around the rubber jacket that appeared to have been counter productive in protecting the wire. Its wound so tight that a little rip will cause the rubber wire to poke out make it ****** up beyond all recognition. The rubber wire poped out right at the top of the mouse and has been dragged on my Pure Pwnage mouse pad for years so I sort of blame myself for allowing it to go this far,

Other Thoughts: I've had this mouse for almost 3 years, and a rough 3 years it has been. It has survived countless slams of anger after getting killed in CSS and drops and falls. But recently the wire sheathings had worn away, exposing wire. This has sparked a lot of problems with the mouse and I've since ordered a Deathadder Chroma as a replacement.

This is a great mouse. In fact, I'm going to order a new wire ($7 on an internet website I'm not allowed to share with you) and fix it before I put it away. Got it for around $70. Beyond worth it.

5 out of 5 eggs4 3/4 years later.

Pros: Amazing durability, its been through a LOT. All but 1 feature still works consistently, which I'll address in cons, but besides that, its fared amazingly for what its been through. I would recommend it greatly if you are looking for a mouse that will be great for you and last.

Cons: The only feature that doesn't work consistently anymore is the scroll wheel lock, where you can change it from scroll or free spin, but if I tap on the top it will work fine. I've actually opened it up and discovered the issue is somehow the spring part for it just isn't what it used to be, so it needs some help sometimes. I used this a lot though, so that may have been the issue as well.

Other Thoughts: The chord will fray, thats a given, over time. but the chord has stood the test of time. If this one ever does die, I'll replace it with another G500 or something very very similar.
