Pros: Light come on when you plug it in......

Cons: WiFi is very erratic, some days it works, other days you can't connect. Many times connection is slow. Have flashed to latest firmware with no improvement.

Other Thoughts: Stay away. I wish I could get my money back!

Pros: It connects up quickly and easily
No real drivers to grab (although it might be best to grab the latest)
supports all major protocols

Cons: Seems to only 'double speed' when connected to the router of the same brand (n600)
Has issue with resetting the entire USB hub (powers down, zeroes out all connections to hub )

Pros: cheap price

Cons: Stopped working a few months. Had to be restarted every few hours to maintain connectivity and now it died. I'd recommend this better looking for other router.

Decent price
Lots of good firmware features

Cons: Stopped working reliably after a few months. Had to be restarted every few hours to maintain connectivity. I'd recommend this only if it had worked on the scale of years rather than just months.

Pros: Good range, decent functionality, initially stable

Cons: Stability decreases over time; inexplicably died this morning after 2.5 years

Other Thoughts: Overall, this was a decent router. Very good range (reached every corner of my ~4400 sq. ft. house). Dual bands worked well to cover my 10-12 wireless devices (wife and 3 kids, each with their own tablets/phones/laptops). Had a firmware issue about a year ago when it powered up but nothing else -- customer service did a good job helping me fix the issue. Over the last six months, however, it's been dropping signal with increasing frequency. Had to reset once a month, then once a week. Went to reset it this morning and it would no longer power on, so I guess it's dead. Can't remember what I paid for it, but I won't be buying another one -- $70 for an outdated router that lasts just 2.5 years doesn't sound like much of a deal to me. Router was decent while it lasted (but I expected it to last longer ...).

Pros: Price
The user interface and setup are easy.

Cons: As noted by others even the simplest changes require a reboot and sometimes it fails to reboot and you need to turn it off and on.
I am not getting the range on it that I did with my uverse 2wire. I am one floor up and maybe 40 feet and the single is sometimes unusable.

Update:

After a lot of back and fourth and nonsensical changes (like changing the SID) as well as replacing the unit; the wireless still has intermittent connectivity issues. When it works it is great, but when it doesn't it is rather frustrating. Buy something better.

Other Thoughts: I will probably relocate it to see if I can get a better range and hope that they release a better firmware that stops this reboot nonsense for any change.

Pros: Price for the features.

Cons: The unit is not stable on the factory firmware. With factory firmware random devices on the network would lose connection to the internet although they were still connected to the local network. A router reboot fixes the issue but is annoying.

I have updated the router to the latest manufacturers firmware. It is somewhat better, but now all devices lose connection to the internet. It happens less frequently, but it is just as annoying.

I have tried DD-WRT, but could not get VPN pass through to work correcting (required for a work computer). The router appeared to be stable, but the VPN issue was a deal breaker for me. It might be OK for someone with more VPN configuration skills than me although VPN pass through should not really have any major configuration changes to make.

Other Thoughts: Update: I finally got DD-WRT working with the VPN. Still having issues. The clients are still connected to the wifi signal, but there is no internet access. This appears to be an old issue and I really thought that DD-WRT firmware would correct it. No luck. 1.5 weeks after DD-WRT install and I am experiencing the same issues. This may be acceptable to some people, but not me. I only had to restart my old Linksys an average of once per year in the 10+ years that I used it. This TL-Link is junk. I am lowing my rating to 1 egg,

It is hard to determine why you may be loosing Internet access, but it would be worth while checking to see if the WAN port is obtaining an IP address.

You may find that some issues with the connection could be with the connection between the Router and the Modem or even the Modem to ISP.

Again it is hard to see where the issue could be but you may feel free to call us directly for more assistance.

Some of these issues may also be related to DNS which you may want try changing for trouble-shooting purposes.

Pros: When it's working, the router works great.

Cons: I'm constantly getting kicked off the internet every hour. I work from home sometimes and it's near impossible to get any work done. The internet is extremely spotty when hooked up to this router, both hardwired and wifi. It's totally fine when I'm directly connected to the modem.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this to anyone as it just doesn't work most of the time.

Pros: Worked reasonably well for 1.5 years. Functional straight out of the box, decent array of configurable parameters, convenient USB ports for data storage.

Cons: WiFi dropping out after being in service for about 1.5 years. After cycling power WiFi functionality is restored for about an hour, then dead again. WiFi router without WiFi functionality is pretty worthless.
