4 out of 5 eggsNice TV

Pros: Easy to set up.
Great picture.

Cons: Viewing angles.
No wireless.
Edge light bleed.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am pleased with this TV. The picture is awesome -- as long as the viewing angle is less than 45 degrees. There's some edge light bleed from the corners but it's only a problem when the screen is almost black.

4 out of 5 eggsAs good as it gets, for the price :)

Pros: 1080i Hidef resolution using LED backlighting making it surprisingly thin. Also, 120 Hz a realy cool feature but the best thing, for me at least, is the price.

Cons: Mostly things that are miniscule such as no anti-glare screen and the manual is just a bit hard to follow for when you have to assemble the base/stand out of the box. Also, the stand only swivels left or right not up and down. If your using HDMI cables get "high speed" rated. I feel forced to write things that are wrong with this TV, because their's hardly any, lol.

Other Thoughts: I'm writing this review after 28 days of usage, and the conclusion that I've come to is that this is an exceptional TV. A lot of ppl complained about an IPS pannel or what ever its called, essentially before I bought this I read all the other reviews and I got the "bad" one. But in all honesty I don't know what happened to those ppl, my TV looks and performs great using my XBOX360, PS3, DVD, HD Cable box and Computer. It is worth geting "high speed" HDMI cables, I have everything hooked up with HDMI except my DVD player, basically cheap cables cause flickering. Other than that the TV speakers aren't the best but their not that bad either. I have mine hooked up to a 5.1 audio reciever via optical audio. All in all buy this TV worrie free, I'm so glad I did. 06/27/2011

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: -Got it for $450
-Amazing specs to create a great picture
-LED is a huge plus for me
-Swivel stand
-What else is there? Simply a great TV for the price

Cons: -Without HDTV cable, can't get best picture (already knew and I usually have it hooked up to my computer anyway)
-Computers can't use 120 refresh rate (already knew that so no biggy :))

Other Thoughts: Looks absolutely amazing in games and movies.
Have been planning to get an LED TV for the last 6 months but have been waiting to find a good deal. $450 seemed good, hope I was right.
TV didn't appear to be an open-box as a few others reported.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad so far

Pros: This TV is very light and slim due to its LED character. It was easy to set up and the picture wizard helped to tweek the picture base on your viewing angle and light. This is perfect for a college student.

Cons: As the other reviewer mentioned, I did suspect that this is an open box item, which was NOT mentioned in the title. The box def has been opened before. I got it during the 24-Hr sale when newegg lowered it from 650 to 450. Obviously they want to get rid of their stocks since it was still 450 after the 24-hr period. I got the VA panel, which was still great.

Other Thoughts: I have yet to use the usb input to play a video. And since the other reviewer mentioned about the packaging, I am going to inspect the TV carefully and update the review in the next couple days. I think it should only be charged as an open box item if I actually got an open box one.

5 out of 5 eggsLG Rocks

Pros: Excellent Picture, plenty of inputs/outputs, enough settings to tweak to your heart's content. REALLY Like the USB input.

Cons: Didn't have an "s-video" input which my old Sony home theater/dvd utilized which is obviously obsolete now.

Other Thoughts: Love this tv so far, perfect for my bedroom. I did notice that the upper left corner of the bezel was cracked like it had been dropped? The box didn't show any damage so I'm thinking this was an "openbox" item that I wasnt made aware about. The box was taped funny anyway. BUT I'm not sending it back, nothing else seems damaged and a black Sharpie covered the 1/2 inch crack just dandy. Looking for good service out of this tv. My other big screen is a LED DLP which STILL blows away this new LED LCD tv.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for PC gaming

Pros: Looks fantastic
HUGE!!!!
SLIM!!!
no bleeding
ultra clear

Cons: Cannot figure out how to get this to run at 120hz, spoke to LG support today and I was told that you cannot connect this to a pc and get 120hz...only 60hz... so I have no idea how people are doing it. I have it hooked up via hdmi to my gtx 570 and can only get 60hz. ive tried the vga to dvi as well... my hdmi cable is 1.3 also. so I have no idea how to get the 120hz refresh rate. if someone knows please post it, I cannot find any info on it. so either the tech at LG sucked and didnt know her job or the people stating 120hz is wrong. I wish I knew.

Other Thoughts: the VA panel is great. I sit 3 feet from it, as its sitting on my desk and I have zero issues....maybe people gaming from a side angle might have trouble but I have zero issues...the screen is simply beautiful. The text is clear as well. I just wish I knew how to get the 120hz to run.... I wish the nvidia control center would just cough up that 120hz but it wont.

5 out of 5 eggsNot sure what all the fuss is about

Pros: LED 1080p 120hz, slim bezel, responsive menu, plenty of inputs including the side inputs, picture setup guide is very easy to use (must be done to get best picture)

Cons: Did not get the IPS panel but wasn't expecting to either as it says VA panel right in the description.

Other Thoughts: I received a unit with the VA panel. I do not notice any significant or even moderate change in color at different viewing angles. I cannot comment on the sound because I have a soundbar and never even tried the TV's built in speakers.
