The infinity pattern has a roughness to it that makes you want to touch it but isn't painful or noticeable against the fingers next to it. There is a groove about 1mm in from both sides, very shallow and won't gather debris over time. Has a very subtle black-silver shine and sparkle to it that makes people think it is black-silver. The second I tell them it's Wolfram (AKA: Tungsten), they laugh because my last name is Wolfe. :D Cons: Well, I've compared it to my ring-sizer set and it's a whole half-size larger than expected. My girlfriend ordered a size of 11.5 and got a 12 according to my ring-sizer set. No big deal, it has only been flung off once due to trying to catch something on impulse from falling, otherwise it's comfortable just a tad loose. I'm on the fence about taking an egg off for this; I've been told lots of online jewelry distributors will jump up half to a full size just to reduce return-rates. What can I say? That tactic seems to work, it's looser than expected, but wearable enough not to return it. Half their fault, half my fault. Not really worth a full egg so 4.5/5 if Newegg allowed it. Other Thoughts: I didn't actually buy this myself, my girlfriend did shortly after asking me what my ring size is if I knew. Knowing full-well what she was up to, I asked for hers too. Got her a Rainbow Topaz Claddagh ring in return. She's proudly wearing it on her left hand with the crown outward, without even being asked and knowing what it means to wear it like that. :D 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? No flaws at all noticed, I would highly recommend this ring. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Most likely My fault, but the ring seems to be about ½ size too large. When ordering I ordered a 10.5 size- supposed to be the same as my wedding ring. However the wedding ring fits tight going over my knuckle, but this Ring slips past with little or no resistance. I have to be real careful not to lose it. Should call about RMA or something and get a smaller size. The Ring is very well made, excellent finish, has a little weight to it which I like.
