1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Metal.

Cons: The IR receiver has a HUGH design flaw. It's impossible to fly if the heli is facing towards the transmitter. I tried bending the IR receiver up and down to try and improve on the line of sight issue.

Other Thoughts: After spending over an hour, in a dark room, at every angle possible, I confirmed that the IR receiver on the heli board is blocked by the structure of the heli.

Don't buy this garbage.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Happy

Pros: Looks good

Cons: Two channel instead of three. Customer Service is very poor with Newegg & Hobbytron. Hobbytron has an answering machine only, and nobody returns your calls. Newegg will only refer you to Hobbytron. I was promissed I would be called back by Newegg, & never heard from anyone.

1 out of 5 eggsFalse advertising

Pros: Looks nice

Cons: Took 12 days for standard delivery, 11 if I count the fourth of July. The package came with a little piece of paper for packing materials. To top things off, Newegg is selling a two channel Helicopter, when they advertised 3 channel. Newegg forced me to call the vendor about this saying that Hobbytron was the shipper, even though it states that Newegg is the shipper on Newegg’s website. I can't reach anybody at Hobbytron, & they don't return my call, & I have left a voice mail. Between Newegg’s lack of care about their customers, and washing their hands of the issues as if I ordered from another site. I will no longer be doing Business with Newegg. Newegg has become a BIG DISAPOINTMENT in the last year or two. They don't package items well anymore, takes more than 3 days delivery (UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY MORE). I have to wait 5-10 minutes for a Customer Service Rep. to answer the phone while listening to static blasting in my ear, as hopes you will hang up.

Other Thoughts: If you want a two channel Helicopter at the price of a three channel, then buy the S107 helicopter. I wouldn't advise it. If you like poor Customer Service, and false advertising, then Newegg is the place. Better Business Bureau & Attorney General’s office have been notified about this type of behavior.

5 out of 5 eggsgood things..small package

Pros: -easy to fly
-lightweight so hard to break from crashes
-so cute you have to buy one!
-well built
-makes a1r h0g look like garbage

Cons: -IR controller so no daytime outside flying - sun interferes with IR
-slow forward speed so no flying in ANY wind
-AC vents or ceiling fans blow it around a lot inside
-battery life poor - started with about 5 minutes, now 1 month later down to 2 minutes (will upgrade battery and repost results later)
-charge time by usb about an hour, so only 1 short flight per hour

Other Thoughts: Overall very easy to fly and recommended

5 out of 5 eggsEndless fun

Pros: Endless fun! Heli came in a box much bigger than necessary, but it insured good, solid packaging and no damaging. Took a bit of work to get it out of its own box, had to dig up 6 AA batteries, and have been practicing ever since. Pretty quick to master, but still endless fun and definitely worth the price! :-)
I have hit the wall, ceiling, and furniture plenty of times with no visible heli or house damage.

Cons: None. I didn't realize I needed 6 batteries.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very stable, easy to fly, pretty tough, seems you would have to be trying to damage it.

Cons: I can't turn off the flashing led, it's a little distracting to me, a small piece of tape works well though.

Other Thoughts: It is controlled by light and the brighter the light in your flying area the more likely you will have interuptions in control, not a big deal though.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for an indoor RC

Pros: This was a gift from someone who bought this exact model elsewhere.

This thing is incredibly stable! I've flown only one other RC Helicopter ( not of this brand, though ) and this one is much easier to control. I also appreciate that the body is not made of cheap foam and all the parts are replaceable.

NOTE: One other review said that this model only has one actual channel. THIS DOES HAVE AT LEAST TWO CHANNELS (A and B).... Here is how to switch.
Turn on the remote and switch to channel B. ( make sure the other helicopter that would be A is off, along with the remote ) Then turn on the associated Helicopter near the remote and wait a few seconds. It should automatically begin responding. I can't blame the other reviewer for not discovering this- we had to look over the manual a few times ourselves.

All in all- a ton of fun.

Cons: IR communication requires line-of-sight. If there is a blockage, or possible IR interference from some other infrared device, you may momentarily lose control and drop from the sky. Using in an open area generally eliminates these issues. With two set to A and B channels, we are able to have some fun obstacle races :)

Other Thoughts: KEEP AWAY FROM LONG HAIR!!!! Murder on the motor(s) and shafts... ( True for virtually any helicopter )
