5 out of 5 eggsS022

Pros: What I really like about the big Chinook is that it handles the wind very well, will a little tweeking and awareness of where the wind is coming from you can do a pretty cool pinical landing;

Cons: Sometimes out of the blue a Chinook will go crazy and just spin out, not like it needs trimmed, but as if all systems failed, if your up pretty high and that happens it can be bad, that is why you should buy from a bigger dealer, they usually will replace it a smaller company will give you a lot of grieve

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: None

Cons: This product is just horrible. The instructions are broken english and difficult to understand sometimes (made in china), flight adjustments are painful, and the radio signal is appauling (bad receiver?). This product will take off on its own without the transmitter even being on! I turned on the helo, and as I was setting it down the four blades came on full power bruising my hand. Even with the radio on it will take off on its own and start to fly away (if you are serious about keeping it, tie a string to it). While it is in the air, it is difficult to make adjustments to it. Out of the box it would rapidly swing in circles and fly off.

Other Thoughts: Beware, ANY sort of breeze will rapidly throw it off course. I am not the only person that has had rogue helo issues with this product, I would suggest staying away from it.

2 out of 5 eggsChinook

Pros: looks cool, sounds cool, fun at heck!

Cons: I have 2 of these. Long story, but I have 2. Both spontaneously fly without input from pilot.
Example: Turn controller on...turn heli on..wait 10 sec or so, explaining to the spouse why this is so cool. Then get wide-eye'd while the heli takes off by itself. The only way to correct this is to give input from the the controller (full throttle). Then and only then the pilot is in control.
Now, land the heli and pat yourself on the back, while walking over to the heli it'll spontaneously take off again. Play this game over and over until the heli battery is dead. This happens on both Chinooks (S022)

Other Thoughts: I still like the heli(s), they just can't be trusted. The recharge connection on the bottle is also 'clucky' to get to \ plug into.

3 out of 5 eggsFrustrated

Pros: Looks good, durable, powerful

Cons: WONT CHARGE. AC adapter rattles and the lights don't glow when plugged in to charge. It's been out of the box only a couple hours and when it ran down from use and my husband plugged it in to chage NOTHING....very frustrated.

3 out of 5 eggsNot easy to Hover, must use at park!

Pros: Big

fastest forward moving chopper on the block

not IR, so you can play outdoors.

Cons: If you don't move forward, it will turn around and around

Cannot fly this in an enclosed space, it's too unstable (due to two powerful props)

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these, the first would vibrate tremendously and would not fly straight or hover. The engine seized up and would no longer turn.

The second one, was smooth as silk, no vibrations, but this type of heli is not for hovering. If you don't move forward it will turn over and over, just the nature of the two props.

Fun to play with at the park, since this helicopter needs a lot of room for correction.

This is not for flying indoors, it just isn't stable enough.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Helo

Pros: Handles well. Very stable. Easy to hover.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Runs about 10 minutes on full charge. Haven't flown outside yet...all indoor and in confined space. Love the genuine 3-ch RC style over the IR models.
