Pros: Picked this up on a newegg special for 29 shipped. Exceeds all expectations. Amazing fun and value. Seems durable enough, but has a parts list in the manual, and it comes with a tool to disassemble. Searched for S032 on youtube and found a video of a guy abusing this helicopter - throwing it against a wall onto a cement floor. It kept on going. Mine has only crashed a handful of times.

Cons: Not a 4-channel (lacks side-to-side control). Does not have brush-less motors. Wish it could turn faster. The instruction manual text is best used for humor value. The Chinese to English translation poorly is what within the manual read is apparent.

Other Thoughts: Tips: On the first flight, break in your motors. The brushes need to seat properly to provide long-lasting contact. So spend a few minutes with the blades spinning while grounded. Try not to fully discharge your battery - so limit your flight time. This is because at lower battery voltage, it takes more current for the motors to keep it aloft - this will wear out the brushes faster. Also if crashing is imminent, kill the power to the motors to prevent a current surge when the blades are forced to stop.

Pros: Cheap tough and loads of fun. Good range and battery lasts about 10 minutes which is pretty decent for these copters

Cons: This chopper works excellent except one of the blade buckles was missing from the chopper. It still flies but has a slight tendency to drift sideways because of that. Didn't bother to return it and I just ordered a few spare buckles when I ordered other items for my 5 other birds so no big deal at a buck a buckle. Still I've read that this is a common occurance on the S032 and a tad annoying.

Other Thoughts: I first bought a Syma S107G about 4 months ago and got the bug seriously. I then proceeded to purchase 3 more micro choppers for my self and 3 more for a few friends who are now addicted as well hehe, what are friends for right? I then purchased a Syma S033 which is a big bird at about 3 feet long and have modified it to wher it screams now and is a heck of alot of fun to fly outdoors even in a slight breeze. The S032 was a medium sized bird that could be flown indoors if you have your skills honed a bit but if not then you WILL be hitting your dog, cat, wife etc so practice outdoors on calm days first before flying it indoors. The chopper is great but a little slow even with the speed boost setting on high so I performed the same mod as I did on my S033 to get it screaming. The rear rotor is the key and all you need to do is make it a bit bigger. I do this by either double stick taping or silicone taping spare cut down blades to the rotor and whalla! Much faster!

Pros: awesome helicopter to learn on! very easy to fly.

Cons: breaks when you crash it, what doesn't :)

Pros: Easily able to be controlled outdoors from impressive distances. The flight controls are reasonably easy to use. Good size and weight, long battery for short charge time. Fun to play with, my 4 year old loves to fly it with me.

Cons: The placement of the horizontal drift control knob is poor, being right under your right palm, it will often move when your hand is on the controller. The helicopter constantly drifts backwards as if it is too heavy on the rear of the unit, this is very annoying as you must always be adjusting it to go forward just to hover. The plastic landing supports break very easily. No way to turn off the annoying red and blue nose lights to maximize battery.

Other Thoughts: For the price of half-off it was a good purchase, I'm not sure I would be as happy if it were full price. I'm disappointed by the constant backward drift, I'm going to try to take a small "weight/cardboard" to the nose to try to correct for this. The controls get very erratic when the battery starts to lose charge and will often come on mid-flight and cause some surprising crashes.

Pros: It's easy to learn to control and can take a beating. I've crashed the main props into hard objects more than once and it only has a few chips on the edges of the props to show for it. I took it outside and decided to see how high it would go; it hit a tree branch about 35 feet up and came down hard. That broke the plastic on one of the struts but it still flies as well as when I bought it. It works outside on calm days.

Cons: It can't handle anything more than a light breeze outside and that makes it difficult to control. It gets about seven minutes of flight on a one hour charge.

Other Thoughts: Aircraft aren't generally energy efficient so the short battery life is to be expected. Similar products probably have comparable flight times.

Pros: very good control and almost too large for indoor flight unless you have vaulted or very high ceilings; although it did not take long to get very good flying it in average room size. very good outside , only on calm days or very low winds. Great power and upward lift. been looking at several different models (smaller model same type, and maybe both sizes of double blade chinook, also the new 4 channel model.

Cons: tail fin/rudder need a more solid mount, gets loose and maybe there was a small pin on inside of mount round clamp if so needs to be a small set screw.

Pros: I have two Syma helicopters. The big one S031 and smaller S032. They are very tough! I have crashed both of them many times and they survive. Easy to control, very stable fliers. Also the battery lasts quite a while with each re-charge. I haven't timed my flights but estimate about ten minutes per charge.

Cons: The radio only works reliably for about 30 - 50 feet. When the helicopter gets farther away than that it will suddenly lose contact with the transmitter and drop like a rock. Good thing they are so tough! Parts kits for them don't contain screws so if you lose one you are skewed.

Other Thoughts: Others have complained about difficulty flying in the wind. I am a private pilot and I can tell you that the smaller the aircraft, the more it is affected by wind. The S032 is small enough to fly indoors. It creates it's own wind so weight down the papers on your desk! When you first learn to fly one of these, it's best to practice take offs and landings until you learn to control the height after take off. Don't forget to set the trim knob to keep the craft from rotating on it's own.
