All great generals have known the importance of quick and reliable troop transportation. What's the use of building up a legion of hardened soldiers if they can't get to the battlefield? The Syma S026 Chinook Cargo Transport 3CH R/C Helicopter is the 21st century's answer for these needs. Aesthetically, the Chinook's camouflage green decor, complete with realistic insignias and transparent cockpit, contribute to the enthralling experience of flying the only dual-rotor R/C helicopter available for civilians. However, the Chinook is not all flash and no game -- the two rotors and four blades provide additional stability to the helicopter, making it even easier to transport your troops to battle or for terrorizing your family and friends. Additionally, 3 selectable bands allow you to fly up to three helicopters at once -- enough for a full-scale home invasion! Despite these technological advancements, this product is ready-to-fly and easy to use for all ages to enjoy in any indoor space. Twice the fun, double the pleasure, all at a comparable price with single-rotor R/C helicopters. Rest assured -- if these one-rotor 'copters could see the Chinook, they would bleed green with envy.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - VERY Durable
- Very Responsive/Controls Well*
- Decent Play Time

This is a great Heli, especially for the price. Controls are easy to learn and get a feel for, and it's quite responsive. It is also very durable, and will take just about any abuse you can throw at it from crashing into things or those hard landings.

Puts out a lot of air, which just adds to the coolness of it.

As a piece of advice.. if you have a lady in the house with long hair, make you sure take a look at the rotors every once in awhile. It WILL have hair wrapped around them.

Cons: * Very responsive/controls well, *IF* you are indoors. I took it outside during the day and suddenly the controls turned to molasses. I suspect that had to do with the type of transmitter the controls use (Infrared).

Other Thoughts: Great item, well worth the money. Really great for kids as it can take a beating.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Cheap, good for newbies to this sort of thing, sturdy

Cons: Short flight time

Other Thoughts: cant beat it for the price. Give yourself a bit of room when learning how to fly it as it wont stabilize until its in the air and will take off forward at a breakneck pace if you dont throttle it up enough to get it straight off the ground. But that being said this thing has slammed repeatedly at full speed into the wall, the floor, my cat's paws, and it isnt even hurt. Just cut the throttle the moment of impact and you really cant hurt it. It is super sensitive to air currents so it will simply loose stability and crash if you fly it in front of a fan. To be expected with something this size. A brilliant buy overall for the discounted price anyway.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than the other reviews

Pros: Cool little heli. A little more skill required with two rotors. The controller has a great trim system that is not on single rotor models. I will probably buy another.

Cons: None so far

4 out of 5 eggsFun - but VERY CHEAP!

Pros: - Flew out of box. I might have just been lucky, reading from the other reviews.

- For $20, it's pretty fun. I didn't expect the world, I just wanted something that would fly and look nice on my desk. I got that.

- I expected the chopper blades to break easily, but they are very durable. Multiple smashes against the wall and smacks on the floor later, they are barely chipped.

Cons: - Obviously very cheaply made. "DANGER" is misspelled as "DANCER" near the fake jet intakes. I had to pull the body off to make a repair (my fault), the body is very cheap and flimsy plastic.

- As others have said, you really only get 4 or so useful minutes of flight - the last two, the chopper struggles to hover while the battery dies. A bit of a disappointment there, but I guess the two rotors makes this heli heavier than most.

- Hope you like reading Engrish, because the manual is filled with mis-translations and non-sequiters.

- Remote control is well built, but has practically no fine control. The heli itself seems very responsive, but it seems like the controls are vague.

Other Thoughts: I actually bent one of the metal pieces connecting the rotors to the motor, after a particularly nasty encounter with my door, but was able to bend it back into shape with a pair of pliers.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective Out of the Box

Pros: * Hovers well in mid air.
* Easy to manuver.
* Tolerates crashes without damage

Cons: * Balance Bar was BENT during assembly. Out of the box helo would not hover. Had to re-bend the balance bar, which is flimsy and may snap.
* IR remote loses comm link if line of sight is broken.
* Re-negotiating comm link takes several seconds. Enough time to crash.
* Throttle inputs are coarse and lack fine control at low end; landings are always hard.
* Very short battery life; will only climb for a couple of minutes, then constantly loses altitude. Limited useful flight time.
* USAF insignia has been altered to replace the USA BLUE STAR with a RED COMMUNIST STAR. That's *NOT* what is shown in the photos.
* Decals are applied upside-down by a careless slave labor.
* "DANGER" decal is misspelled as "DANCER"
* Shoddy assembly -- Looks like a Factory Second

Other Thoughts: I paid $20 for this toy, and it's fun, but it's really not even worth $5. It's highly overpriced. The amount of fun you'll get is limited by short flight times followed by a painfully long recharge interval. If you spend an entire evening charging the batteries, you might get 15 minutes of total flight time.

If I had known that the USAF decals would be replaced with RED COMMUNIST decals then I never would have bought the helo. I don't want a RED COMMUNIST helo. One of the Rotors' balance bars was bent during assembly, and the helo would not hover properly until the plastic bar was bent bent into position. The bar feels like it's going to snap when you bend it. Be careful.

Overall, this toy is overpriced, with poor workmanship and Surprise! You get Red Communist markings. Would not buy it again. Would buy something else.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT VALUE

Pros: It's very easy to operate. After just 5 minutes I could navigate it around quite well. After a week, I could land it on someone's head!(do not recommend to do with someone with long hair) It's quite forgiving when it comes to crashes and bashes. The plastic blades don't shatter when they hit things.

Cons: Doesn't have a ton of climbing power. Indoor use only. the slightest breeze will blow it out of control.

Other Thoughts: Great product for any experience level. Forgot I had it, found it, used it until it ran out of juice and it was just as fun as when I first got it. Can't go wrong

1 out of 5 eggsNot as great as I had hoped

Pros: - Very durable chopper blades
- Cool look
- Can charge through controller

Cons: - Controller uses AA batteries (6!), not a rechargeable item.
- Manual states 50 mins to recharge, only 6 mins of flight duration. That stat wasn't on here when I looked through specs. Others in price range take 25~ mins or so to recharge and last 8 minutes.
- Power switch almost very easily broke off, very tiny and flimsy
- Charging doesn't always work, have to unplug and replugin repeatedly to get it to work
- Randomly loses equal power to front or back of chopper, causing it to intensely fly forward or backwards (probably into your house plant).

Other Thoughts: First RC helicopter cheapo I've bought, so I may have had high expectations? This thing is more of an inconvenience then it is fun.

5 out of 5 eggsFun!

Pros: Inexpensive, easily controlled inside, battery lasts for a good five minutes of responsive predictable runs. Thereafter they become a bit less responsive.

Cons: No machine guns mounted. Otherwise for the price, a lot of fun!

Other Thoughts: Cats adore the torment offered by these little guys. They are quite hardy, I've had other Syma models endure for months of daily cat torture, absorbing all manner of abuse. Out of four units, one succumbed to the abuse after two months...and, I think I can fix it with a bit of effort. Get several and minimize the charge wait (about an hour).

5 out of 5 eggsDurable

Pros: This thing is really fun. i dropped it from about 18 feet because my controller batteries died and it still runs like new!

Cons: Short flight at a time. ( also short charge time too)

Other Thoughts: I'd buy it again.
