4 out of 5 eggsOK choice but the S107G is better

Pros: + REALLY small! To my knowledge, it's the smallest mini-heli you can buy so it works very well in homes with 10' ceilings or small apartments.
+ Good design
+ Satisfying run time on full charge

Cons: - The rotor shaft wraps hair around it from off the floor like crazy. We keep our home tidy and clean but apparently even a Dyson doesn't get all the hair out of the carpet like this little heli can. Needle nose pliers do the trick but it's a tedious job.
- So light that even minor drafts or A/C vents will blow it around thus making it either a challenge to fly, or really fun depending on how you look at things.
- This one did not come with a USB charger like the others in the past have and the charge cord on the remote is wicked short! In addition to that pain in the tuckus, charging the heli from the remote will drain your AAs very quickly.

Other Thoughts: We get the kids mini helis every Christmas and this will be the 3rd S110 we've purchased. The previous two worked like champs, taking every hit and crash with a smile. The kids used them on a weekly basis and we only tossed them after the battery stopped taking a charge. This one has lasted all of 2 days! I don't know how, but a pin on the top rotor shaft sheared off today. Sadly, finding parts for the 110 is like impossible. I'm replacing it with the more commonly available (and slightly larger) S107G which we've also owned a number of in the past.

5 out of 5 eggsGood fun!

Pros: More features and lights than I expected. Easy to control with a little practice. Seems to be sturdier than I thought it would be, given it's light weight.

Cons: Battery life and charging is questionable. Charging from the controller seems inneffective and I thought I had a dud heli for a few hours. Charging with the included USB cable got me off the ground again!

1 out of 5 eggsOne time wonder

Pros: It looks nice, made of metal

Cons: DO NOT BUY. I have been flying small helicopters in my house for a couple years now. I can consistently fly them without crashing. I always do my first flights over grass to make sure how they respond, don't want to break it before I understand it. Its first flight went PERFECT, I even landed it softly. I was very impressed with how well it worked and responded. Then I TRIED to recharged it using the USB cable, It never flew again!!!!! The unit has a small light in it, When the charge was complete the light would go out within seconds of removing the USB cable and turning it on, I even tried to charge it using its remote control. Its battery CAN NOT HOLD A CHARGE. I have been flying gas remote control airplanes for more than 20 years now, I love it. BUT DO NOT BUY this helicopter JUNK.

1 out of 5 eggsS110G Super Mini Gyro RC Remote Control Helicopter

Pros: Good looking.

Cons: The Rotor turns but Helicopter does not take off from ground. The flying feature not working. The charging cord is too short. Remote control Joy stick is too weak and mal function. It does not working as intend to be.

Other Thoughts: Should change RC for this product and need tight QC control.

4 out of 5 eggsHours of fun...5 minutes at a time

Pros: Looks good, LED lights are cool. Fairly sturdy for as small and light as it is. Wasn't expecting much for such a relatively low price, so was pleasantly surprised overall.

Cons: Landing gear is chintzy. Female charging end on helicopter looks/feels fragile, but no problems yet. On/off switch is tiny.

Other Thoughts: Keep this away from long hair, shag carpet, and nervous pets. Expect to adjust trim as the battery fades.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Actually has control unlike some of the other cheap ones I've flown. Charges pretty fast (~20 min) flies any where from 5-10 minutes depending on how much throttle you give it. Also comes with little USB charger.

It's also very durable. I've crashed it 20+ times and everything still works great. Pro tip: when you are about to crash, move the throttle all the way down. I'm pretty sure these things only break when you keep full throttle into a crash.

Cons: Doesn't come with batteries? Other than that nothing. For $20, absolutely no complaints at all.

Other Thoughts: I always wanted an R/C heli, but I could never afford one. This one fills the need for now, but it's really growing on me. Actually buying another one now to take apart and have some fun :)

I spent $75 on one like this but a different brand and it was horrible. This one is 10x better, and a fourth of the price. I highly recommend this unit!

3 out of 5 eggsFun but flimsy

Pros: Cheap, simple design and easy to fly. Charges fast, and is a ton of fun at the office. People come to my desk just to fly this little guy around for a bit. The controls are fairly responsive too.

Cons: Battery life on the helicopter is abysmal. It is supposed to last for around 7 minutes, but it really feels more like 2 to 3 if you don't take any breaks. Seems like they could improve this a good deal by slapping some slightly larger capacitors on it.

Also, the construction is very flimsy. After only owning it for 2 weeks I had one of the metal struts FALL off during flight. This piece holds the tail on...luckily there are two! It flies funny now, but we still make it work.

Other Thoughts: If it were not for the piece falling off of it, after very little abuse, I would give this 4 eggs. It is a fun toy, and is good for hours of laughs at the office. Great for flying over people's cubes! Unfortunately the cheap construction does mean it won't last too long.
