The AC charger is a big bonus (the selling point for me) you always get optimal charging level and time, don't have to drain the batteries in your remote like many other. It has a bult in low voltage protection, if you drain the battery too much it will shut down the heli that you shouldn't damage the battery. If it cannot lift up from the ground at full throttle the battery is drained already, just charge it up before you damage the battery. Cons: The remote doesn't have the expected coverage even though is RF and not IR. Maybe because it's only 4xAA and not 6xAA like others, but at least you're spending less money on batteries. Cons: The trim knob is in a weird location and is easy to inadvertently move while handling the controller, especially if right-handed. Really only intended for indoor use, since it cannot handle any wind - even a slight breeze through a window will throw this thing around. Other Thoughts: Probably the best you can do for an indoor helicopter. The smaller indoor 'copters I have are too small and difficult to control.
