5 out of 5 eggsGreat little quad

Pros: Pretty cheap in price
Has a camera
Plenty of spare parts available
Controller 'feels' hobby grade
Comes with an sd card and usb adapter, spare rotors, usb charge cable and a scredriver
Light enough that you don't have to register with the FAA
Easy to fly
Easy assembly

Cons: Battery life is short, but it's easy to get a few spares.
Camera isn't great, but it's not terrible either, just don't expect professional quality and you'll be ok.

Other Thoughts: Description states it comes with a 2GB micro sd card, mine came with a 4GB card. That was a nice surprise. Card even had some test shots on it from QC, so I feel better knowing my unit was actually tested ^.^

So far no complaints, this is my first quad and I'm having a blast learning how to fly with it. Beware of trees! Got mine stuck once already.

Take off the camera, landing gear and the prop guards for more agile flying. Also you can do flips when the camera is disconnected with the right trigger: hold down the trigger and press the right stick in any direction and it will do a flip in that direction.

5 out of 5 eggsWell made, fun little quadcopter!

Pros: Quadcopter is very well made, kids really enjoyed flying it. Unfortunately I may have gotten it stuck about 75ft up in a Sycamore tree when playing around with it. It stayed put in that tree for 3+ months until coming down a couple of days ago. It had been through snow, sleet, hail, rain, and a near miss tornado before coming out of the tree. Once out of the tree, with a fresh battery in it, runs almost like it was new. Very impressed.

Cons: Doesn't climb out of a tree when it gets stuck.

5 out of 5 eggsHubbies Christmas

Pros: Really great sale price, fast shipping.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This is hubbies Christmas so has not flown yet, it looks quality in the box and has a lot included especially for the price, will update after he opens and flies and post pics from drone on my instagram: lldeb09livecom after Christmas.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Drone For The Cost

Pros: Easy to fly.
Simple camera operation.
Takes a beating.

Cons: Wind, wind, wind. Anything more than a light breeze (5mph+) and it's gone. I tried to fly it against the wind and the wind just took it.
The instructions are in really really poor english. Go to YouTube if you get stuck or message me.

Other Thoughts: After three months with my first drone(non-camera for practice), on my third one now (X5SW, FPV), they are all flying fine even thought they have crashed quite a bit; slammed into concrete wall, crash landed on asphalt street, stuck in tree branches (got it to fly off the tree).
DO NOT use after-market 800mAh batteries; I fried my first X5 (non-camera) right away. The 650mAh batteries work fine on both my X5C and X5SW, they include a 500mAh battery.

5 out of 5 eggsSyma X5C Quadcopter

Pros: Inexpensive. Easy to control and very stable flight. Very good to learn on. For as light and fragile as it feels it can take a beating and keep on going. Replacement parts, upgrades seem to be available from many sources at inexpensive prices.

Cons: Battery takes a couple hours to charge, but besides that none so far.

Other Thoughts: My son and I had never flown a quadcopter before and it was easy to jump right in with this product. I bought it for my son for his birthday and after a week he's really good at it and I'm thinking of taking the prop guards off to see if it's more nimble and less wind drag. So far it's been well worth the money and we have some replacement props(just in case) and upgraded batteries on the way.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for learning

Pros: This little drone is great for learning how to control a drone. Does not have all the stability and GPS functionality of a $2K drone, but if you fly this one into a tree--you're out $50.

Cons: Very light. Do not fly with a strong wind--this little guy gets carried away quick by a strong breeze.

Other Thoughts: Folks knock the camera. This thing is less than $50. The camera isn't a GoPro, but for learning it does an excellent job.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Great flight. Responsive. Fast. Smooth.

Cons: Short battery life. Radio is a toy. Camera is garbage.

Other Thoughts: I love this thing. I fly the stuffing out of it. Don't take it outside with wind, it will be gone. Inside in a warehouse, this is a hoot. Love it. I will buy another!
