1 out of 5 eggsItem was broken

Pros: Seemed like it would be a decent helicopter if it worked.

Cons: The propeller on the tail was broken when I received it and so it didn't fly properly.

Other Thoughts: Receiving a broken item is such a mess and something that I have 0 interest in trying to deal with.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Pretty sturdy construction, can still be crashed hard and broken but good service and cheap replacement parts from toyworld helps

Cons: Uncontrollable in the slightest breeze. Only works outside in a dead calm.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap fun

Cons: Battery strong enough for flight for a few minutes, then hovers. Now it doesn't work, blades spin up a little, then just stop... like the battery is shot. Do a direct connect to the motor and it spins fast. Think the board went out. Got about 100hrs of play time out of it so not too bad of a deal. Only lasted a little over month though.

1 out of 5 eggsdid not work

Pros: looks pretty

Cons: - Lower blades did not spin, motor does not spin
- DO NOT BUT from newegg marketplace
- newegg will hand you off to the 3rd part seller if you have problems

Other Thoughts: If you are comfortable with newegg and their policies, then do not buy from marketplace.

I went to RMA this bad item and newegg took a hands off approach and gave me the 3rd party sellers info an mad me handle this with them.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Unit

Pros: Good value for money. Will stand crashes fairly well. Fairly easy to fly! Good beginner unit. Recommended

Cons: Poor instruction manual. Does not explain operation, Thought tail rotot motor was inop, but it is only used when neeeded.

Other Thoughts: I ordered a second unit I was so impressed. If they would rewrite the manual in good english it would help.

1 out of 5 eggsJust bad

Pros: Was a gift at xmas for my twin boys, so I didn't pay for them.

They are small so they don't take much room in a trash bag.

The remotes can be used as battery holders / paper weights.

Cons: Neither lasted that long.

First one ended up having a problem others are having while researching my issues. On or Off it stayed on, fully lit up, but wouldn't respond. Had to let the battery drain, then charge again. But it was the last charge it would ever take, just like others.

Second one just wouldn't take a full charge after a few hours. Which ended up crippling it; because it didn't have enough juice to lift off.

One of the trim buttons was broken out the box.

Other Thoughts: They didn't come from newegg, but thy are all the same build.

I wish they worked better, even I got excited when they opened them. I was thinking my boys were getting old enough for some RC toys so it "was" cool, but sadly only for that day :/

Check your heli close, both of these had 1 of 2 stabilizers installed. They come with plenty of spare parts (blades, spare rotor, stabilizers, screws) to fix them including a screwdriver. Just no electrical parts lol.

Not everyone had problems while searching, but unfortunately we fell in the lemon category.

I'm thinking about RC boats instead next time lol :)

Good Luck!

2 out of 5 eggsdisagreement in details

Pros: cheap price depending on the size.... if its over 18 inches in length with 15 inch diameter rotor........

Cons: Not sure of the length or rotor diameter.
says will go up to 100 meters (300 feet) verticle and RF controls will work out to 200 feet (66 meters).....
HMMMMMMM sounds like it will get away and fly off into the sunset on its own maybe??

Other Thoughts: details and more data would be REALLY nice..

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fun

Pros: Fun Helicopter, easy to fly. 3 channel is a good starter for both indoor and outside flying. Will fly 100+ feet up but is sensitive to wind disruptions and down drafts.

Cons: Order plenty of spare parts. Blades, both upper (A x2) and lower (B x2), shuttle plates, the small pieces that hold the cowling and buy plenty of pieces that hold the blades (mostly the top piece). Working with Newegg has never a problem, however, I would strongly recommend against buying anything additionally from Toyworld. They ship from Hong Kong, takes up to a month to receive your items and they often will not send the right parts... Very unreliable!!!

Other Thoughts: Very good price, may want to buy more for extra parts!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for beginners and up!!

Pros: This is a fantastic entry-level helicopter that's very easy to operate and is extremely sturdy. Spare parts are relatively cheap for the rare occasion when you actually break something. After 20+ hard crashes with my kids at the controls (Yeah, ok, I crashed a few times too), I haven't had to replace anything yet.

Cons: Windy conditions can upset these smaller helicopters very easily. It's not so much a con as it is a warning to those who buy it. Plan your flights for days with no wind to light wind.

Other Thoughts: It's a snap to learn to fly these, but takes a LONG time to master them. Don't expect to be a pro in a week.

4 out of 5 eggs14 and over

Pros: easy to use out of the box, easy to learn, a lot of fun, easy to make small adjustments after a good crash but durable enought to withstand them.

Cons: Crashes when I fly it.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to drive my cats nuts. I'm a older guy OK 56 with youngest in college. Orginally I thought it just flew up and down, until my son (21 and on his first attempt) looked at it and flew it around our kitchen. He thinks video games made it easy for him to fly where I still struggle. For us older guys practice makes perfect and it can withstand our numerous crashes without a problem, but try not to you may nned to put on your readers and get the tiny screwdrivers out for minor adjustments. ITS A KICK. if you have the money IT IS WORTH IT!
