5 out of 5 eggsGreat sound

Pros: I got these to connect to an old laptop in the garage, for my daughter and friends. Sound great, work with USB connected to PC straight out the box with no driver installation needed. My daughter loves that her and her friends can connect their MP3 players to it. They could not blow them up and had some great parties using them.

Cons: The cable connecting the L/R speakers could be longer.

Other Thoughts: I like these so much that I am going to buy three more sets and use them as 7.1 speakers for the PC i just built. The two original speakers will be connected as one center speaker. All I need is a subwoofer.

1 out of 5 eggsSUCH SWEET SOUND TILL SPEAKER BLOWS UNDER A LITTLE VOLUME!!

Pros: I purchased a pair of these bad boys a couple of years back and they sounded awesome out of the box and were great for reference monitors..

Cons: After the 1st couple of days I cranked the volume up on these and did a half way decent mix in pro tools le. Next thing I know, the next day when I turn them on to do more mixing the speaker on the left was blown and sounded like someone was passing gas smh..

Other Thoughts: SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOME REAL STUDIO MONITORS, SOME MACKIES OR PERHAPS SOME NICE M AUDIO OR YAMAHAS!!
