A lot of people say buy these if you are looking on a budget.. The problem with that is, these speakers sound better than "budget speakers". I ordered these speakers and was prepared to be disapointed. However, after listening to them they sound great. I have done two shows (I am a DJ) with 1000+ people and these where good enough for that. However, with that many people I should have 2 more with 2 subs however, I pulled it off fine with these. However, I am using a great amp. I don't know what these would use if using a lower end amp. My amp is a QSC GX5. These speakers have a nice tight bass with clean high and mids. The speakers I replaced these with where Peavy SP3s with Blackwidows, as far as comparing them, the sound quality the Seismic sound better, however the build quality goes to peavy. I could throw those peavys around, knock then over and they would be fine. However, I blew both of them doing a show. Cons: None! Other Thoughts: These are great speakers, not just for entry level speakers. I have been a club DJ for 10 years and quality is very important to me.
