Premium sound Expedition XP40iw employs a 6-inch woofer and a 1-inch high frequency driver to provide pristine, full-range sound. A 40-watt Class D amplifier is perfectly matched to the driver for high efficiency and low current draw. In addition, bass and treble controls let you tweak your sound to appropriately match your specific setting and audience.
Comprehensive jacks The Expedition XP40iw is armed with comprehensive ports for connection to different devices. It offers an XLR 1/4-inch combo input for line level or microphone level devices, a 1/4 inch input for guitar and line level devices, as well as a 1/8-inch stereo aux input for stereo line level devices (MP3 players, keyboards, etc.). In addition, it also comes with a 1/4-inch link in/out jack, allowing you to connect two systems together to create a stereo setup.
Integrated iPod Dock The PA system also features an integrated iPod dock with level control, giving you the option of incorporating songs or other MP3s into your performance. The level control lets you adjust the background volume separately from the main volume.

It has really been a pleasure to own. Cons: The quality of the speaker is very weak. After only a few uses my woofer burned up. This is not pro quality, so I have to say expect failure and have a backup. Other Thoughts: This is a nice system that I would normally recommend, but my woofer burned up after only a few uses. This is not indicative of quality engineering, or I just got a bad one. Still, I'd buy it again, but I'd always have a backup sound capability. Did you find this review helpful? Pros: I've had this system for over a year and love its versatility. It has really been a pleasure to own.

Cons: The quality of the speaker is very weak. After only a few uses my woofer burned up. This is not pro quality, so I have to say expect failure and have a backup.
