5 out of 5 eggsGreat item. Works well with my Tivo Premiere

Pros: Works well with my Tivo to control it a room away (maybe 50'). Don't even need direct access as you could point it in any direction and it seems to work!

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsWorks!

Pros: The guy that came up with this idea deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for Home Electronics (a new category.) The idea is simple but this things works! The sensor replaces a battery in your IR remote and picks up the slight emanations your remote makes when you press a button and converts them to radio frequencies that can be transmitted through walls and floors to the "flying saucer" thing, which converts them back to IR commands. I've used my remote even from outside so it's probably good for at least 100ft but I haven't tried it from any further.

Cons: I've had this thing for 5 years and it's still going strong. OK, the flying saucer is a little hokey looking (a cube maybe? or a pyramid (hint, hint.))
