130BT 29.5cc Gas Variable Speed Backpack Blower

Pros: Easy start, Fast shipping, Looks better than what I expected.

Cons: It was missing a part. There's a special Zip tie that secures the throttle cable to the main blower hose, not a big deal but I docked 1 star for it.

Other Thoughts: I was a bit nervous ordering a refurbished unit but honestly this thing is like new, (other than a few scratches on the plastic blower tube). This engine started on the second pull, runs great and moves wet leaves easily. It appears to have a new carburetor and throttle cable. Spark plug is new.

Pros: Light, powerful, smooth

Cons: Nothing that I can see.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded to this after my electric one finally gave up the ghost. I had heard that this was difficult to assemble. Well, it wasn't. I used a few drops of dishwasher liquid to shove two of the hose pieces together and they went on smooth as silk. Tighten the two clamps and it's ready to go. It starts on the first crank if its hot, third if it's cold. It has plenty of power. It is so fuel efficient that after having blown my long driveway and large carport off into the wind I barely had enough room in the fuel tank to add the required 1/4oz of Sta-bil to put it up for the off season. I've never seen an engine so easy on gas. The fuel tank is huge, this thing would run a long time before running out of gas. It's easy to put on your back, everything is great. The nozzle has removable sections to make it whatever length you want. I recommend this product. I made a video of me starting it and put it on youtube, just search the model number and put after it "start up and idle."
