4 out of 5 eggsEasy live streaming within network

Pros: I bought this to use as a baby monitor. After an hour or two I had it set up wireless streaming on my iPhone. Scary good night-vision. Negative reviews are probably from people who just couldn't figure out the networking.

Cons: Not meant for computer illiterate. No easy one-stop desktop program to control camera. Done through internet browser. Took some work on internet options security settings. I still have to figure out how to actually record video... but shouldn't be a problem. Still haven't figured out streaming outside of my own network. Again... I will figure it out.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy a video baby monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fanstic, even with Windows Phone!

Pros: Very easy to setup and use. Picture quality is plenty sufficient and automatic night-vision works very very well (I would personally prefer the light threshold to be a little higher, but no biggie). Wireless mode functions without a hitch. Works fantastically with our Windows Phones (HTC 8X and Lumia 928) using the "IP Cam Controller" app, other apps work as well, I just wanted to give an option to anyone looking to get started. Browser front-end is a little dated, but still perfectly operational in IE 10/11 (use Mobile mode), Firefox and Chrome. This thing is also perfectly quiet. We use two of these as baby monitors for our kids and they perform flawlessly. Both rooms are very "busy", which is to say there is a good many details and contrasts in the picture at any one time and there is no problems whatsoever with locking up or lag or any cmos issues as reported in some of the Foscam models.

Cons: The software, both PC-side and web front-end are dated in their appearance. This is superfluous, however, as they still function as expected. The manual is quite obviously poorly translated into English, but there are loads of illustrations and the point is always well communicated.

Other Thoughts: All in all, this is a fantastic performing camera. We were pleased enough with this model that we bought a second one for our newest baby. The Windows Phone compatibility was a huge plus for us.

5 out of 5 eggsFANTASTIC CAMERAS

Pros: Don't buy baby monitors ever again! Get a few of these! for the same cost as one video baby monitor, AND with more features and capabilities!!

FANTASTIC camera, especially for the price. I bought two, and they worked great - DON'T EVER BUY A VIDEO BABY MONITOR AGAIN - for the cost of two of these, I had 2 way audio, moving video surveillance, night vision . . .the whole nine yards!! Get two of these, hook them up to your wi-fi (might take a little bit for that part), and you are good to go. FANTASTIC.

UPDATE: One of the cameras started having power issues. I contacted the company, and it was within the warranty. I provided a receipt, and the serial of the non-working camera, and another is already on its way to my house. I will definitely be working with this company again. This is what service should look like!!

Cons: Does not allow for functioning within an enterprise based network (username/password), at least according to our tech adviser. Other than this, fantastic!

Other Thoughts: Don't buy baby monitors ever again! Get a few of these! for the same cost as one video baby monitor, AND with more features and capabilities!!

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT IP CAMERA, SUPPORT

Pros: This Hoo Too 210F ip camera provides a very clear image on my phone and tablet. Raymond of Hoo Too support has been very helpful in setting up the camera since I first received it and more recently, when I had a problem accessing the ip cam app over my phone when wi-fi was not available. He checked out my camera and system remotely and this indicated to me that it was a setting on my phone (Not the Hoo Too camera) that was causing the problem. The setting that was unchecked was "use mobile network to get data when wi-fi is not available". I then checked this and everything has been working beautifully. Raymond's expertise eliminated possible causes and led me quickly to this solution. Highly recommended. i use free phone apps to view when away from home.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: The 210F can be tweaked by adjusting a focusing circle surrounding the lens, giving a sharp video image. Also set your phone app to the higher resolution.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Network Camera

Pros: Price, good mounting bracket. Built in dynamic dns support. Video quality

Cons: remote pan / tilt operations works good in LAN but remotely it works sometimes.

Other Thoughts: I never setup wireless caue i don't like wireless network. I had a cat 5e cable running from my d link switch to the Camera. Forwarded the ports required in my router and i was able to use my Android phone with the IP Cam Viewer app to view the video feed. It works really well, even when i was away on holidays.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little camera

Pros: Price is great. I have this mounted to a wall in my baby's room to keep and eye on him in the crib. The software controls made it easy to flip the image around so that the picture looked correct. Moving the camera around with the controls is easy. Mounting and wireless network setup are easy. The picture quality is so-so. By far the best feature is the night vision. It is pitch black in my baby's room and this camera makes it look like it's daytime.

Cons: Cannot turn off flashing red light above lens. There is a solid green light on wall adapter which makes a lot of light in a dark baby room. If you're doing the same you can cover it up with some black paint or electrical tape.

5 out of 5 eggsLOVE THESE CAMERAS

Pros: Price and Value are hands down unbeatable.
IR Filter and video quality (640x480 MJPEG) are great
Pan and Tilt are smooth, easy to adjust and include speed adjustment
Option in white and black chassis is great so is the analog I/O along with the miniplug ports for installing your own mic and speakers.

2-way audio works great!

Cons: The setup application doesn't work. Im extremely tech saavy so it didn't bother me, but the Quick setup guide shows you how to find it with DHCP and the built in DDNS web access. So if you are new to networking, follow the quick setup, dont bother with the CD.

Wi-Fi scan in the web browser configuration doesnt work, but it doesnt really matter if you know the network you want it to connect to. Once you manually specify it, the Wi-Fi on this camera works great.

The CAT5 cable that came with BOTH of my 210F's didn't work. I had to use my own patch cord to get initial network connectivity. Not a big deal, but you'd expect the cable that came in the box to work, you may be troubleshooting the wrong problem and think the camera is defective, its not, change the network cable. USE YOUR OWN CAT5 CABLE FROM THE START.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT let the cons scare you. This is a great camera (I own 2 of these now and will buy more to cover my entire house with them)

IF YOU HAVEN'T BOUGHT THIS CAMERA YET, SERIOUSLY WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR.

Wish it had a zoom function and maybe higher resolution (higher price obviously), but this would be a welcome addition to an already great camera.

Buy the Pro version of the Android app "TinyCam Monitor" which allows you to use the 2-way audio, recording to your phone, motion detection, ambient noise supression and multiplex all my other HooToo Cams right on the phone/tablet.

4 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: 1. good picture quality, even better than Linksys WVC54GCA and Edimax PTN 7000 I have owned.
2. built in audio
3. night vision capable, great for monitor baby. good image at night even without any light.
4. This camera is as good as any mainstream brands.

Cons: The only cons that I need to mention is that you can't disable the night vision feature. The problem is that I use this camera to monitor the street view, and the night vision caused night vision lamp from the camera to reflect glare off my windows. However, you can minimized the glare by tilting the camera 45 degree from your windows to avoid parallel reflection.

Other Thoughts: The price is very reasonable. Setup is a little harder than Linksys product if you are not familiar with wifi, ftp, ddns, etc.
