4 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly good

Pros: Fairly quiet (compared to other gas engines of similar size)
Comes with wheels and handles (most charge extra)
Great packaging.
220v fairly clean (not bad enough to cause motor damage)

Cons: Gas tank is a little hard to fill, as the tank is pretty wide, and the fill hole is right in the center. The filler being in the middle means it doesn't spill easily, but it doesn't fill easily from a carb compliant 5gal can either (funnels are an awful idea in the snow and rain).

Oil spout is set in a tricky place foe filling. Get a cheap trans oil funnel instead of the cheesy included 2 piece thing.

3 out of 5 eggsNice but, last years model, not exactly what is advertised.

Pros: Nice Generator. Powers my whole trailer, AC, Microwave, etc... Not too loud.

Cons: - The main issue I had was the generator that is advertised is not the same as the one that I received. My gas tank is not the same as the one advertised. All of the pictures show and the description (even on the box) says the generator comes with an "ez-read" fuel gauge on the fuel tank. This was not the case with the generator that I received. My generator does not have the "ez-read" gauge so just be aware that you may not get what you think you are getting. Other than that, the product seems to be pretty nice. I just won't know when the tank is about empty. My generator is a 2012 model according to the inspection date so these may all be older models just so you know.

- A little bit heavier than I realized. But do-able with the included wheel kit.

Other Thoughts: I like the generator I just felt a little bad that it is the last years model that doesn't have the fuel gauge as advertised.

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: 2 phase, easily connected to whole house, starts first pull every time! This thing is QUIET!! love it.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: DuroMax claims that if stored according to their directions, it will start on the first pull. Well, I tried this. It sat for almost a full year. I put gas in it, turn on the gas valve, and it started. First pull. When you need a generator to start, this is the brand you want!

5 out of 5 eggsLooks good

Pros: Looks good can't wait to test it . I need to get some oil and gas before I crank it up. It is a great price, and looks to be a great generator.

4 out of 5 eggsGenerator Great, But Lack Of Communication from seller

Pros: Generator works.

Cons: I have a problem with the seller. They took a long time to respond to me via "email". They also stated the item shipped out and couldn't provide me a tracking number right away. Obviously this must have to do with the way they work as a company. I expect more from an online company. New Egg is great, but this merchant that works with them needs to improve their communication with the customer.

5 out of 5 eggsTypes Of Generators

Pros: The type of generator that you speak of, that can run continously, is called a prime generator. Th

Places like Alaska, where villages are small and very remote and access to the grid. Are the places that would use prime generators.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: None

5 out of 5 eggsAs described.

Pros: Item is just as described. Excellent value for the price paid. It is very hard to find a 220v generator for under $400. Is made in China, so some parts do look a little cheap. Will see how it holds up under a real workload. Easy to assemble. Started on second pull of cord. XCELLENT packaging from the shipper.

Cons: None that I can find.
