Pros: Works as advertised. Kinda rare nowadays. Most gadgets like this never work well, just barely ok. This one actually works good. I use it to listen to podcasts and ebooks and music on my cellphone while driving. Plug it into anything with a headphone jack and tune it to match your radio. Good sound, good range, no problems.

Cons: Was sent a defective item. Transmission volume of my podcasts is fairly low, but that might be the quality of the source file. I suppose it's acceptable considering the cost of the device.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a simple FM transmitter that didn't have all the bells and whistles (car adapter, cell phone charger, cradle, etc.). I wanted to be able to plug it into any smart device and use in my car. The only feature I wanted was the LCD screen. The device that was sent did not hold a charge. It only worked when plugged into the car power adapter it came with but no matter how long I charged it, it wouldn't hold a charge. The on/off switch did not have any affect either.

I contacted ClickHere2Shop and they said to contact the manufacturer, Professional Cable. I got an RMA and sent it off about a week after I originally received it. If they send me a working product, that's great, but I'm concerned about the 30-day refund limit. If the replacement is defective, I will want my money back but don't know if that will be in time... oh the flaws of online shopping.

Other Thoughts: This is a fine product if you have a dedicated mp3 player maybe.. I use my phone (as most do) and found the 3.5mm jack to become weak after a while. Also, over time, the signal would fade in and out. Let me state right now, I live in Phoenix, and the heat is a major contributing factor, and having said that. I actually repaired this little guy once before having to give up. the internal wires that are soldered to the circuit board are thinner than I would think and after repeated plugging in and unplugging, in 110 degree heat they just got brittle, and broke at the solder.

I gave this guy 3 stars cause I don't want someone to get slammed with 30 bucks for something that other places are selling for a lot less. If you can find this same unit for less than 15 bucks, it's at least worth a shot. Free shipping and no tax are a must too.
