4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: As advertised it is sharp looking and easy to set up. I am using it as an extender. I was hoping for a little more distance out of it, but it does carry the signal into the first room at my mother-in-laws across the street. One more of these and perfect.

Cons: I could always wish for better throughput or larger coverage but it is good for the price.

Other Thoughts: I would love to see more powerful router/extenders in this sort of interface design and concept.

5 out of 5 eggsSecurifi Almond Touch Screen Wireless N Router

Pros: Functions well in tasks that it was purchased to do. Small. Easy to set up. Touch screen works well.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Arrived quickly on time and works well as range extender and to provide wired ethernet connections on the other side of a wall.

2 out of 5 eggsJust OK

Pros: Touch Screen is neat, Can be use as range extender

Cons: Died right after warranty expired. Average Range, Cost

Other Thoughts: The touch screen is nice and the set up was easy. The range is only average. The set up is now easy on most all routers so that is no advantage. After a year I started having problems with it dropping off line so replaced it and used it as a range extender. Nice to be able to do this. A few months later it died. I have bought and set up 25 or 30 routers for friends and family . Many were replaced because a better one came along. This is the only one that rolled over and died before I tired of it. It is just not worth a premium price.. There is nothing special about the performance. I may have purchased the worst one they ever made.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best Range Extender

Pros: - The easiest piece of tech equipment I have ever set up.
- The touch screen is the best.
- Remember to change your default user & password from admin/admin.
- Needed the range extender to get to my son's room & it worked great.

Cons: None I can think of.

5 out of 5 eggsThese are terrific WAP's

Pros: Super easy to set up, and endlessly flexible to configure as a range extender or a new WPA and zone. I have two at one facility and just added two more at another.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSimple to install

Pros: Installed as a range extender. Extremely easy to move from location to location to use or demonstrate. Finds the wireless access points, you pick the one you want, enter the password if any, done. Allows for plug in of a switch so you can add whatever else you want.

Cons: Maybe instructions could be more extensive for those people who must know the how & why.

Other Thoughts: The harder you think about what you're doing, the more difficult the setup will be. The existing network will have a name and probably a password. If you know those, you can setup this device as a range extender. The extender is a new access point so it will have a name and a password too. They can be the same, but don't have to be. Setup is really as simple as portrayed on line. After setup, you can go to the STATUS window and get the assigned IP address, MAC and other details. Use your browser to look at or configure from a browser interface.

1 out of 5 eggsalmond BAD Router

Pros: its black

Cons: I had this router for over a year. I saw this and was thinking wow it looks good and it has a touch screen.
I had this router for over a year and I have to say what a pain. This has to be the worst product ever. Evertimer the power is lost the router will never re connect. I spend hours doing hard resets and re connect. I already returned one unit but they all do this. This is the worst thing I have ever got. I hate this so much. I wish I never bought it and I would feel wrong selling this unit but never want someone else would go through what I went through. I am using this a extender. Almond is so bad it keep renaming the SID with the word ALMOND. Wow are these Almond people stupid? Who would rename a extender so now the extender by default will not work. People just stay away from this unit. Buy a real router. Almond people just need to go out of business. I never put reviews but after a hour today trying to get this *** back working I got so mad.

Other Thoughts: don't waste your money or better yet years of your life.
You will be on tech support from the time you get this unit until the time you return it. People that give this a review do not use it a long time. When I got this the first week I was happy. It was cool. It had a beta weather app that never updates. Beta for over a year. It has a touch screen that needed a pen :) wow a pen.

Pros: Excellent !!!

Cons: No Problem :)

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, but slow

Pros: Extremely easy to set up.

Cons: Because it is single band it is not able to maintain WiFi speed over expanded coverage. Speed Tests showed WiFi speeds of ½ those of Time Warner Cable cable modem speeds. Returned with no problem, except for restocking fee.
