5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: - Easy set-up, very good software
- Very good coverage, did not need as many as I thought as the power and antenna work very well even though my placement was not ideal.
- PoE worked just fine, no issues with old AF compliant equipment

Cons: - Java a little slow to launch controller software but once it is up it is responsive and works well

5 out of 5 eggsEasy setup, very good coverage

Pros: Very easy to mount and setup.
Auto-configuration via UI button is a snap.

Cons: Very minor quibble, if they shipped dark colored plastic wall anchors with their product instead of clear they would be easier to spot when lining up the bracket.

2 out of 5 eggsstay away

Pros: When the gear worked on 3.2.1 it was great, but after having to update the controller to the new version to fix some other bugs, the gear is pretty much worthless

Cons: It seems that Ubiquiti doesn't test their releases and only provides support over email. for gear that they are trying to sell as enterprise that fails to work, email only support is not an option. I've waited 24hrs before a reply. During that 24hr period I am getting many complaints.

Other Thoughts: stay way until they either provide phone support or start testing the bloody software. product is currently a joke.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: POE support, Enterprise-grade channel survey facilities, QoS (by station, ap, etc), >consumer grade event logging and statistics

Cons: Use of Java for the controller sw is a PITA and may be a showstopper for organizations. Web-based UI is clunky and lacks help (docs are online but if you're trying diagnose why you don't have connectivity that's not much help). Docs themselves are sorely lacking--have used Ubiquiti gear for many years and they still don't know how to write a user guide which is unfortunate given how frequently their UI is unintuitive. 3-pack of ap's had 1 DOA and 2 units sound faulty (see below).

Other Thoughts: Nightmare installation. 2/3 units make a ticking sound that sounds like arc'ing or failing capacitor (not POE's). "Adopt" (ubnt parlance for setup security between controller + ap) on one device and another disconnects. Only able to ever get 2 of 3 devices functional but one unit frequently becomes unresponsive and dumps all it's client. Connected one device using "wireless uplink" (maybe WDS) but throughput through the downstream ap is a tiny fraction of what you get just connecting directly to the upstream ap (maybe WDS only uses legacy tx rates? didn't sniff traffic to check)

5 out of 5 eggsFeature Packed and Dependable

Pros: -High AP Up-time
-Great Coverage
-Useful Central Management
-Helpful Info On Connected Devices
-One Unified Wireless Network Across Multiple Locations
After running these UAP-Pro and UAP-AC for around 4 months, I'm still impressed. They've been setup across 4 different locations, all reporting back to my desk. With that, I can see:
-Up-time of each of my 9 APs
-Each device that is connected to each specific AP
-Network that each device is logged onto
-Any alarms from any AP across the locations

Cons: Setting up APs in multiple locations can be tricky at first due to different networks and firewall configuration. Once you get one to report to the central management PC, it's a breeze for the rest.

Other Thoughts: Three of the nine APs needed to be restarted once. That said, after the PoE was disconnected and reconnected, they reported straight back to the admin console without another issue.
I've found it helpful to keep the admin console open during the day to keep an eye on things like APs not reporting and connected devices.
Additionally, if you have a BYOD policy, you can keep an eye on who/what's connected to your network and block devices until a usage policy is signed.
Coverage is great too. I have them placed in office, warehouse, and service areas. I'm actually surprised at how far the range manages to extend even with the steel beams and concrete/metal walls.
I highly recommend you try these out. They far surpass the Sonicwalls that we had previously.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent APs

Pros: Great APs that work well. Took minutes to set up after powering up 4 at the same time. Visit the forums beforehand to learn about features that could affect your network. A school has had these running nonstop for a month with no issues.

Cons: The price is a little high at first, but it is well worth it in the long run.

Other Thoughts: The 3-pack is a great deal.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product!

Pros: Wonderful range, easy install, sleek design. Great speed.

Cons: Only three in a box.

Other Thoughts: I don't know why others have said install is a pain. It couldn't be easier. Run a wire and plug it into your network. Launch the software. BOOM done.
