Pros: This is a great product. It allows you to get rid of the 24 Volt PoE injectors that are littering your MDF if you have a bunch of Ubiquiti products. Cons: There is no reason that this product should be required. Ubiquiti should stop designing their equipment to run on 24 Volts and use standard 48 Volt 802.3af PoE. Other Thoughts: On Ubiquiti's website, they admit that 802.3af delivers "power more efficiently, enabling longer cable runs." So if the standard is more efficient their their custom solution, why don't they just adopt the standard in all their new hardware designes? 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you?
