Pros: Very similar to the Franklin Spelling Ace model. Works well and has a extremely long battery life, almost as long as the shelf life of the batteries. I bought this item elsewhere.
Cons: Small keyboard and not as sturdy as the earlier Franklin's. The scroll is okay, but the full screen is better. I like the key action and pad better on the older versions.
Other Thoughts: Through it all, however, the spell checkers are the most stolen items I have ever owned on a percentage rate. They disappear like paper clips, so they must be good. Odd thing is, why does everyone's spelling still stink? The spell check is an invaluable asset to readers and writers. I am ordering a new one when I finish this because my last one has been re-appropriated (permanently borrowed). I know where it is, but the woman's spelling is so terrible I'll let her keep it.
