1 out of 5 eggsUseless, people can't hear me

Pros: Easy to set up

Cons: Call recipients complained of being unable to hear me when speaking in a normal speaking voice in quiet office. Very disappointed with this item.

1 out of 5 eggsMotorola won't support you

Pros: None, the manufacturer won't stand behind their product.

Cons: MANY cons. The earloop repeatedly breaks (I've purchased 3 so far), the earpiece falls off and gets lost. The company won't respond to inquiries for replacements. Apparently they think I should buy a 4th of the same product from them just to get a .50 cent piece of plastic and rubber. How about NO.

Other Thoughts: This is a follow up / replacement to my original review. Motorola puts out shoddy products and will not support them.

I bought this headset initially because it had a decent price point and got a lot of good reviews, only to find out the earloop is flimsy and breaks like crazy. I bought a 2nd one and the same thing happened. I bought a THIRD ONE, was overly gentle, and the same thing happened.

I contacted Motorola technical support to ask them where I could purchase replacement earloops and rubber earpieces. They never returned my contact attempts. Motorola additionally doesn't provide any information which would help you buy a generic or aftermarket earloop either.

These people don't care about you.

I bought their Motorola SB6141 cable modem and it was junk too, read my review.

Motorola is GARBAGE from a GARBAGE COMPANY who won't support their loyal customers. Buyer beware.

2 out of 5 eggsPlastic earpiece keeps breaking

Pros: See below

Cons: See below

Other Thoughts: I've purchased 2 of these before because they met my price point ($20-30) for an inexpensive bluetooth with reasonable ratings. It performs fine, even sometimes too loud, and I need to turn the phone volume down. Standby seems fine too. But the clear plastic piece which hangs over your ear keeps breaking. It broke on my last one, and it broke on this one too. Why they can't make it out of some more durable material, and then offer replacements, I have no idea. All I know is I blew 60 bucks on two of them and I still need to now buy a 3rd bluetooth because of that stupid flimsy plastic. Buy at your own risk.

5 out of 5 eggsMotorola HK250

Pros: Easy to pair, Great sound, Supports Music, Great size. Nice Design, Great Battery Life, Fits great no need for over ear.

Cons: It only came with one size ear housing,

Other Thoughts: Overall it is one of the best I have come across. Good quality that supports music and is just basic sound. I have used Motorola in the past so I was sure this would be just fine.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat output and battery life

Pros: Connects easily.
Plays music wirelessly quite well.
keeps a charge for several hours.

Cons: Input volume has a lot of background noise, but that is to be expected with a microphone placed so far from the mouth.
cuts in/out a bit when more than 5 feet or so away, not a problem keeping my phone in my pocket and this device in my ear though.

Other Thoughts: not the greatest quality audio, but it gets the job done.

1 out of 5 eggsMotorola HK 250 Bluetooth Headset

Pros: It worked immediately, is rather comfortable, and seems to work well on the user's end. MicroUSB charger.

Cons: The person on the other end of the phone call cannot hear you very well. Consistently with everyone I've tested this product with has said that it sounds muffled, lots of static, and overall low volume despite having their devices' volume turned all the way up.

Other Thoughts: If the other person can't hear you, the rest of these nice features do not matter.

5 out of 5 eggsPleased with Moto HK 250 Bluetooth

Pros: The unit performs well and paired instantly with a phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) and my laptop..

I enjoy streaming audio for listening to text. I like the readout of caller phone numbers when they come in.

Cons: The unit came with only one eargel. The ear hook rotates a bit too freely so that the unit is a bit difficult to get to the proper position in my ear. However, once in place it is comfortable for long periods.

Other Thoughts: I have used ohter moto Bluetooth devices and was always satisfied with a good combo of features, quality and price.

2 out of 5 eggsMotorola HK 250 Dead in 250 Days

Pros: Worked well while it lasted

Cons: Left it on for two days (my error). Tried to charge it but the light flashes red, indicating the battery is too depleted to charge. NewEgg cannot help, since the 30 day period is passed. And, states there is no manufacturer warranty....thats it, its dead, try contacting the manufacturer.

4 out of 5 eggsHigh dollar features in this afffordable one.

Pros: This headset actually surprised me because of my phone was sitting on the coffee table I was actually able to walk around the house, my last one couldn't do that.
It's small and lightweight and with the three level volume adjustment I can hear crystal clear.
Once on it's very comfortable to wear and great for someone who wears it a lot.
On-off switch and a redial feature along with answer and hang up.

Cons: It's a very small headset. So might not be a con but yes it's a very small Bluetooth headset.

Other Thoughts: I'm, disappointed that I'm returning mine. The volume and controls are great, and once on the ear I like this headset. I hear people clear on this headset than I ever did on the headset on replacing. I asked and I was told they didn't even know I was on the headset. My problem is my big hands I don't want to wear hundred percent of the time and I want to build the put it on and off with one hand. I did figure out how to do that using my finger to help the plastic earpiece go behind my ear. I'm sure with practice I would've gotten very good at it. A couple of times when I got a phone call and went to put the headset on I hung up on them. The button is right there needs you to push and I find that I click it basically every time I put it on my ear unless I use two hands. In the car that doesn't work for me unless am putting it on to make a phone call or listen to music.
This is a great headset for somebody who's been aware a lot. This thing is comfortable and light. Now may be just my phone which is a galaxy I I I but when the headsets connected it turns the ringer off on the phone and you only hear it through the earpiece. Also all surprised that one because I noticed my first phone call with the Bluetooth connected because I saw the screen of my phone and then put answered with the headset. This headset is better than a lot of the higher dollar headsets available. I wish it wasn't so challenging for me to figure out how to put about with one hand and always never hang up on the person but I want a more simple in the car, one I can just slip on.
I'm now bitmap to spend more money on a different headset and it might not even be as good as this one. So if you leave your headset on your phone at home and the other calling go to put it on because you know you'll avoid clicking and hanging up on people. The distance surprised me, a whole different world compared to my last headset. My phone was on the coffee table I was walking all over the house not even thinking about it while on a phone call and then I realized I just had crystal-clear reception through the walls and all. This is a recommend to buy. Don't let my return stop you, again it's just my big hands.
