Pros: Item was more than I expected: built better than the "C***g" unit I purchased from C**. These low-cost units (caught on sale) make great gifts for nieces & nephews!

Cons: The low-cost units are still more difficult (time-consuming) than they need to be...

Other Thoughts: Great little gifts to get for the younger set to get into technology, for little money!

Pros: It's black and shiny. It came from Newegg. It holds papers down on my desk when the fan is on.

Cons: So slow that it's pretty much useless, even for basic internet browsing. My son's mid-tier smart phone is much more capable. Wasted my money on this one...

Other Thoughts: Very limited, bare bones unit. I bought this for a 12 year old, primarily for internet and basic android games. Processor is so slow that even browsing the internet is painful. Switching between tasks, even more painful. It's so slow that there's zero chance he could ever use it for any kind of app. Waste your money on something (ANYTHING!) else.

Pros: Getting it to turn on!

Cons: Doesn't do the web at all, even at an arms length it won't stay connected to wi-fi, trying to type anything on it is near impossible due to touch pad note corresponding to virtual keyboard after set-up.

Other Thoughts: I only paid $50 bucks at the time and thought I might try to upgrade the system in the future.
I DO NOT recommend buying this for $50 let alone the going $199 price now...

Pros: Nice little reader, mostly does what it says. The price was excellent so it could have been an excellent deal but....... The little shopping bag is not there so you are severely limited in it's internet usefulness (see cons). The battery life is a bit less than claimed but not bad at about 4 1/2 hours listening to music while reading. A bit over 5 without the music. Must be about average because they both run about the same battery life.

Cons: The internet works .....however, Koby is useless because the unit is not recognized in the Google play whatever that is. Can't find out because it won't let me. So if you plan on using this to buy books online forget it. The only thing you can read are what you load onto it. Now if you know where and how to get your books this isn't a problem, I've got several hundred on it already. Also the only formats I've found it will read are epub, Adobe PDF and Word. Adobe and Word are both annoying because they move around when you try to turn the page unless you use the page buttons, the touch screen will move it nearly off the screen. So far I haven't found any way to have it update to use the other features that it claims to have. It's a shame because the deal was almost fantastic. I won't return them because my wife likes hers and I found her books for free so she's happy.
Installed internet apps don't work and you can't get any because Android & Google don't recognize the unit.

Other Thoughts: I believe if Android 2.2 were installed instead of 2.1 all the apps would work and the unit would actually do what it was advertised to do. You will be disappointed if you plan to buy books on the net...you can't. I came close to returning all 3 I bought after spending hours to find out that their capabilities were falsely advertise. Make no mistake, even the instructions lead you to believe you can do what they advertise. I checked the web extensively and they are incapable of doing what they claim. I've never had a problem with Newegg and I realize this is one of their vendors, none the less it is still false advertising. It won't stop me from buying from Newegg but I will spend more time researching something that seems like a really good deal from now on.

Pros: First unit had cracked screen, contacted Altatac and they immediately emailed prepaid, return shipping label. They turned the second unit around quickly & very happy with it and with Altatac. Situation was corrected quickly and to my satisfaction. Would buy from Altatac again - thank you.

Cons: This is the worst tablet I have ever seen. The touch screen has to be pushed very hard to respond and when it does respond it is always the letter or number beside or below the one you want. I contacted ematic customer service by email and got a very difficult response on how to flash the tablet. This was useless also. Newegg will not take back anything that has been opened, so I am stuck with a $60 paper weight.

Cons: Foreign Manufacturing Blatantly Apparent, Poor Quality, Buggy S/W, Slow Processing.

Other Thoughts: This tablet should be thought of as nothing more than a color screened e-reader. To use it for anything else is laborous and time consuming. The foreign manufacturing is evident in some of the descriptions within the device. Some of the grammar is as though someone with a basic understanding of the English Language was the author.
