Cons: Broke after 4 days because the battery stopped charging.

Pros: it was cheap

Cons: The display is tiny and contrast sucks.
The control buttons are not easily distinguishable by touch. I use this mainly in my car and try to skip/fwd/rpt without looking, not as easy as it should be.
The charge life is no where near the advertised 6 hrs. I have to recharge every 2 hours even after fiddling with display time, backlighting, etc.
I have yet to get this stupid thing to play consecutively through my selections, it will play one artist 1-2 times then jump somewhere else in the library then come back and then go somewhere else on the list.

Other Thoughts: I've ordered a replacement, this little things days are numbered before I throw it out the window....

Pros: Small, actually too small. Decent sound. Cheap price but not worth it.

Cons: Display is so little you can barely read it. Even with "reader" glasses I had a hard time. Battery only lasts 1-2 hours on a full charge.

Other Thoughts: I've purchased other Eclipse Mp3 players and they were excellent. Really, really disappointed in this one.

Pros: Quick out of the box operation. I plugged into my desktop and it opened right up as an additional drive on WIN XP Pro and still works with no issues using WIN 8.1 Pro.

As an older user, I do have to get my reading glasses out when I want to do more than just play what ever I get to first, but that is not really the unit, It is just a fact of growing older. It is very easy to use.

I have had this unit for ten months and still think is was an extremely good buy!

Cons: I can't really think of any. It has worked every time I turn it on and I only ask an hour or so of it a day typically. So I can't speak to battery life. Once plugged into a laptop or other system it takes its power from there and it is not an issue.

Other Thoughts: If you are on a budget this could easily be for you. If you are looking for small and light again, give it a try.
