5 out of 5 eggsGreatest. Thing. Ever.

Pros: Very clear FM transmission.
Supports USB Flash, SD card and Line input.
Sends RDS info to your car radio, if equipped.
Very portable.

Cons: Plays on after you switch off your ignition. You have to pull it out or use the remote to power off. (Not a big deal)

Other Thoughts: I have tried the cheap FM transmitters that run on AAA batteries and was disappointed. I saw good reviews on the Soundfly, and gave it a chance.

I was amazed at the sound quality, but the greatest thing is portability. Satechi should do a TV ad where James Bond destroys his car and starts to leave it, but goes back for his Soundfly and drops it in the next ride he commandeers.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: Price
Works with USB and SD (MicroSD w/adapter)
Saves multiple freqs.

Cons: Didn't work with 1st 8GB MicroSD card (w/adapter) I tried but worked with a 16GB MicroSD and USB.

Not enough buttons on unit, must use remote for most features.

Other Thoughts: Unit was priced well. It didn't work with the first 8GB MicroSD I tried with 2 different adapters but it worked with a USB stick. So I tried a 16GB MicroSD I had and it works fine with both adapters.

Using the remote I can jump to different folders. I have about 4GB of music total with about 200 songs in some folders and there is no lag. It remembers what it was playing when you turn it off but it starts playing from the beginning of that song when you turn it back on. Not a big deal for me.

I tried a few different FM frequencies and did notice a slight difference even though the static on the open freq sounded the same. As soon as you turn the unit on the radio static disappears and you hear near silence so you know the unit is transmitting on that freq.

I've noticed some of my songs sound better than others and actually better than I expected from an inexpensive solution. Some sound just about as clear as playing them from an mp3 CD in the same car. As others stated the volume is a little low but using the dynamic boost does help.

All in all, I'm happy with it's performance. If I could add one feature it would be a button to jump to the next folder. Remotes don't belong in cars.

5 out of 5 eggsDarn nice player...

Pros: Portable, plays off SD cards, no wires needed, plugs right in to 12 volt plug. Stuck a 16 gig SD card in and it plays nicely.

Cons: Price after seeing others for cheaper, still I'm happy.

Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong getting this, still keep an eye out for better deals as always.

5 out of 5 eggsThis Thing Kicks A--

Pros: Sounds great. I haven't used all it's features, such as playing my iPod through it. I just put all my CDs on one tiny SDHC card, put it in the SATECHI Soundfly, and it seems like endless music from here. It's truly amazing! The thing just works. From off it comes back right where you left off if that's what you want, or it can go back to the start of your folders. The radio frequency is totally easy to set, and it stays locked even when you remove the Soundfly from the power and move to a different vehicle.

Having a party? Park the cars sort of close to each other and tune them all to the Soundfly frequency and turn all the music systems up! Wow!

Cons: I can't plug phone charger in the lighter socket when the SATECHI is plugged in. I need to get one of those two for one adapters.

Other Thoughts: I am ordering two more for my other vehicles.

5 out of 5 eggsNice!!!!!

Pros: Easy to use (plug and play)
Easy to setup
Clear playback (USB & SD)

Cons: Degraded playback with an MP3 player. No matter which frequency I used, it wasn't as clear as when I played from a USB stick or SD card. That's ok because I bought this to use with USB and SD cards.

Other Thoughts: This is a nice FM Transmitter MP3 player. It's playback is clear and detects the media (USB, SD or MP3 Player) automatically. The remote is great once you get the player setup. The instructions were clear and concise. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.
