Pros: None for me

Cons: Bought this with three Orico USB 3.0 external enclosures. Enclosures work when plugged into motherboard, but fail during file transfers when multi-enclosures are plugged into this hub. Thought keeping all the components the same brand would work?

Returning it will cost me as much as the original price. Thanks for the piece of junk, I'll remember your brand.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy if intention is to plug in multi external drives for large file transfers. I contacted Orico before writing this review to see if my problems could be fixed, NO RESPONSE.

Pros: Checked all 5 ports and everything worked. Also the blue power LED light is not too bright which to me is a good thing.

Pros: Small, great solid build, works right out of the box, can be used to charge mobile devices as well (all 4 ports)

Pros: has 3 ports

Cons: The photograph for this product give the impression this has a longer than 10 inch cable length. This is useless if you bought to use plugged into your CPU and want to place the hub on a desk or table top.

Other Thoughts: Worthless for desktop usage.

Pros: - 4 Total USB 3.0 Ports: 1 on the Side and 3 on Top.
- Nice Spacing Between Ports
- Integrated USB 3.0 Cable to connect to desktop/laptop (no extra cables needed)
- Plug-N-Play with support for many operating systems

Cons: - The cable that is built-in is extremely short.
- The black color option is really kind of boring. Would be nice to see Blue, Red, etc.
- Strange issues with Windows 10, but it did work out eventually

Other Thoughts: I bought this small hub to add additional ports to my desktop. For that task, it works great! I'm glad I no longer have to reach around the back of the computer to connect things, instead I just use my new ORICO Hub. One thing I will note is that when I connected it to my Windows 10 laptop, there were some issues initially. I think Windows was trying to contact the Update Service to install the driver, and since I was having Internet connectivity issues, the installation didn't complete properly. I did try again later in the evening and everything worked fine... so it might have just been a one-time issue. The hub worked well on my brother's Windows 7 laptop, and also on my dad's MacBook Air too. Overall, I think it's a good product. I just wish they had more color options because I wanted a Blue hub for hockey season (Let's Go Blues!).

Pros: For some reason, some of my old USB hubs have quit working. Fortunately, this is doing the same amount of work, and I don't even have to power it since it is USB 3.0 and for a great price.

Cons: The USB cord from the hub to the computer is a little too short.

Pros: item has 4 ports

Cons: light, one port is on the side (away from other ports), no power brick

Other Thoughts: useful for adding additional USB ports for powered devices (like printers, scanners). Makes it easier to plug USB in rather than try to reach behind computers. I do wish the cable was longer, but can't entirely fault that because signal would be better with a shorter cable.

Pros: - Ability to share 1 USB 3.0 Connection into Multiple (4 Ports)
- Uses industry standard VIA Labs VL812 Chipset
- Has Built-In 8-Inch USB 3.0 Cable
- No Drivers Necessary, Just Plug-N-Play
- Good Port Spacing (nothing Overlaps)

Cons: - Not AC Powered (ideally suited for low-power devices like PC Peripherals or Flash Drives)
- The built-in USB 3.0 Cord is pretty short. It might be advisable to buy an extension cable, especially if you are using it with a Desktop PC.

Other Thoughts: This is my 2nd USB 3.0 Hub that I've purchased from ORICO. My other model is the M3H73P-SV which is 7-Port, Aluminum and more expensive. This W5PH4-U3 model is only 4-Ports, which should be fine for your average computer user. I actually picked this up mainly to connect flash drives and transfer files quickly for clients... and it hasn't disappointed. I'm not sure what connectivity issues people were having in the other reviews I read, but I did not experience any whatsoever. In fact, I tried connecting this 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub to multiple computers running Windows Visa, Windows 7, Windows 8 and even Windows 10.... and not one had any issues. Perhaps some driver could have been conflicting on their specific systems which caused the problems, but everything worked fine for me.

NOTE: This Hub is only Bus-Powered, so it won't work to power hard drives, etc. that eat up a lot of power. Stick with low-power items and you should be okay.

Overall, I definitely recommend this product. The only drawback for me was the short 8-inch built-in USB 3.0 cable, but I fixed that by buying an extension which was only a few bucks.
