1 out of 5 eggs3.0 works 2.0 inoperative

Pros: 3.0 ok

Cons: Not quality built. Used Sedna adapter for 5.25 inch bay and was difficult to get screws in. After mounting found that little blue light stays on and the USB 2.0 do not work. Very disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsVery convenient

Pros: Very convenient to have USB 2 and USB 3 ports on the front of the case. Installation was simple. Item arrived in approx 2 weeks.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: This front panel makes file transfer easy. My Gigabyte socket am2+ motherboard doesn't have USB 3. So, I installed a USB 3 card. The USB 3 cable from this device plugged right into the card. Now I can backup many gigs of files to USB 3 flash drives. The difference in speed over USB 2 is remarkable.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Experience at Marketplace

Pros: It arrived or maybe that should be a con.

Cons: Far right port does not work. Emailed the company about the problem and got an email back that said, (we show the unit was delivered). 5 minutes later an email said we will send you a new unit. It has been over 2 weeks since that email and still no replacement. Told Newegg about it and they say I have to continue to contact the manufacturer. Not a typical Newegg scenario but I will be checking other places to buy my parts. Really a big con that I want to shop somewhere else after this experience. I have a list but they won't allow any other store names in my post. I've been a Newegg customer for 10 years or so and the form letter they sent regarding this matter shows they may be getting to big now.

Other Thoughts: I don't want to waste my time or money to send back a product but I won't shop on the World Market anymore. They never responded to any more emails and I think all the positive eggs are from family members.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless!

Pros: This is an excellent replacement and use for the floppy drive bay. The device did not require any drives and plugged into the motherboard without any negative effort. All the ports worked to their standards.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Good product, easy to install, works as it is designed to. No issues so far, very satisfied with my purchase.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: As this is a marketplace seller, wanted to mention that I received my shipment in 6 business days. That is, from China to east cost USA. Seller shipped out the same day that I placed my order, and packed the item very well. Excellent service, so I would say you can buy with confidence from Sedna.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the Wait

Pros: I needed this to take advantage of the USB 3 header on my new ASrock motherboard. I must confess that the sole reason I chose this over the other offerings was the fact that it has a pretty blue power LED. The leads for the USB 3 are nicely sleeved in blue. The USB 2 leads are a ribbon cable. For my case the leads were plenty long enough. Installation was simple. The back screw hole lines up with the slots provided in my Cooler Master case floppy drive bays.

Cons: This was shipped from Hong Kong so it took about 12 days to get to me. Like my review title says---- "worth the wait".

Other Thoughts: I was a bit concerned about saying goodby to my floppy drive until I realized that I was only using it for MemTest. I finally downloaded a CD version. Duh..

4 out of 5 eggsFully enclosed metal box

Pros: Works. Well-made. Cables are long enough (22" or so.)

Cons: This full metal box can be mounted only in lower position of 3.5" external space inside my case due to an obstruction along the side of the top position at about half depth. Some other products are half-open (like a "mule" slipper) exactly for this reason.

Other Thoughts: Left+right sides each have 2 screw holes in perfect position for a _floppy_ drive. When mounted, the front is flush with the rest of front panel. Holes on a 3.5" harddrive are different, and that mounts _behind_ the panel, so hole placement need not be standard.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great, tough to mount.

Pros: Pros: USB 2.0 and 3.0 access to the front, instead of having to either pull my tower out or run extension cables to the front. Everything works great.

Cons: Cons: The mounting holes for the unit aren't far enough back to use the standard slots for a 3.5" Bay so I had to drill out new locations for the case. I had to do this with a card reader in installed as well. I'm not sure if my case just doesn't have standard mounting locations for 3.5" accessories, or if just had some bad luck. Either way, 2 new holes drilled and it goes in just fine.

Other Thoughts: Product works great, just be prepared to custom mount it.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems fine

Pros: Purchased 12/25/2012
Motherboards usually have 2 USB 2.0 headers to support 4 ports and 1 USB 3.0 header for 2 ports. Cases usually have 2 USB 2.0 ports on the front which takes only one header. If you want to maximize use of the USB headers on the motherboard the second and third headers have to go to a slot adapter on the back of the case. There are already plenty of USB ports on the back of the case. We need them on the front.

This SEDNA unit does the job. My case now has 4 USB 2.0 slots and 2 USB 3.0 slots all on the front.

Cons: None Yet.

Other Thoughts: For me, it shipped from China but arrived before some items that were shipped in the US.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good price. Both the USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports worked as advertised. The front port panel is of good quality and the product matched my Corsair 200r case well.

Cons: The USB 2.0 cable is very short, only 14" long or so, and just did reach the USB header located along the lower edge of my motherboard (an Asus P8B75-M LX Plus).

The USB 3.0 cable was of good quality and somewhat longer (18" long or so), but also too short for any type of cable management.
