4 out of 5 eggsPixel Perfect!

Pros: Nice resolution, clean and crisp visuals. Color representation is great. Registers at a 59hz monitor according to Nvidia software and Windows, but other than that it works great for gaming.

Cons: The DVI port is a bit hard to get to, I normally don't like running cables at a sharp angle like this one requires.

The 'M' on the logo fell off after I hit it with my keyboard on accident... not really the fault of the manufacturer just a little dissapointed. Not worth taking an egg off.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate on Earlier Review

Pros: Please read my review below for all the PROs this monitor has, but since at least one owner had a problem with the display - I have added a CAUTION. This monitor ships with a DUAL DVI cable, if you use a single monitor DVI cable you will not get any display except maybe a non-distinct color pattern. The DUAL DVI cable has extra pins in it to run the display. Your video output from your computer will also have extra pins if it supports multiple monitors. I used my old Single Display DVI cable first and got nothing until I used the shipped DUAL DVI cable!

Cons: None have shown up after 3 months of use.

Other Thoughts: This monitor is holding up just fine. The clarity of the display is beyond description. You will never wonder if you need glasses when reading type on this HD monitor.

1 out of 5 eggsnot the best rma experience

Pros: nice price

Cons: Customer service, i sent the monitor back (after plugging it into 5 different devices, all of which supported Dual-link dvi and 1440p) the monitor wouls not even show a company name(you know you buy a dell monitor and start it up it shows the dell logo for a bit, then switches to input, well all it would do is flash red then shut off. They tell me upon receiving the monitor they will contact me, 2 weeks after sending it back, i contact them, and the response is "We have tested your monitor in our office and manufacturer's customer center.
But it doesn't have functional issue."
and like an hr after that i start getting newegg messages saying they have just received the rma info from the manufacturer, which implies to me that had lost it and only sent it after my reminder. inshort i got charged the restocking fee and got the refund..but no replacement

Other Thoughts: I probably just had bad luck with the company all said and done

5 out of 5 eggsSits Nicely Between HD and UHD

Pros: Great resolution, no dead pixels that I could find, does not require exotic video card configurations like UHD will. I am running this on a gtx 780 w/3 gigs memory with no problems. Everything looks great on it. Was completely plug and play with windows 8.1

Cons: Seems flimsy on it's base, tap the side and it jiggles like a bobble head for a few seconds. Mine did NOT come with an adapter (I guess it's a Korean style AC plug?) but I was able to use the plug from the monitor I was replacing which fit nicely into the power brick.

Other Thoughts: I do not play any newer games so I can not comment on how well it will perform. Only game I play is everquest2 and I can tell you I have about twice as much real estate showing on my screen. My 27" 1920x1080 monitor always seemed cramped with all my open windows, hotbars and bags blocking my view.

4 out of 5 eggsNo nonsense panels do what they claim, but no more than that.

Pros: I bought two of the "perfect pixel" displays and received both quickly with no fuss.

- No dead pixels on either display.

- Ultra sharp with nice color fidelity.

- 1440p was worth it!

- Significantly cheaper than other 27" 1440p displays.

Cons: - Shipped essentially bare with just a single layer of foam wrapping around each box. Fortunately there was no damage in my case but I think this is a very chancy shipping method that could result in damage easily.

- The stand is cheap and no frills; tilt only.

- No USB ports.

- View angle is noticeably lower than some higher end monitors. The image starts to lose contrast at about 90 degrees or so. This is perfectly fine for gaming and such but professional users may not want to jump on this one because of it.

Other Thoughts: The monitors use Dual Link DVI (DVI-D) instead of Display Port 1.2. This will not be a con for most people but something to note in case you intend to daisy chain monitors which is gaining popularity.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Pros: Beautiful Big Display! Super HD resolution! 2560x1440 Beautiful Pixels! Double your 1080p! Plug and Play perfect with WIN 8.1 Unreal price! Half the price of most other Ultra High Def monitors. That's why I got this one. It's got a fast 6 ms response for great gaming. I was getting 45fps at full resolution in Unigine Heaven GPU benchmark using two HD7850s to power the display with a score of 1400. The score is down some from my smaller monitor because this one has an extra million or so pixels to move around. This monitor earns its title as 'Pixel Perfect' since I couldn't find any dead pixels. Samsung makes the PLS panel which is a competitor of the IPS panel also used in large displays. It's a form of LCD type panel with LED back lighting which makes the display very bright and brilliant. The stand is adequate which you can tilt. The large screen will giggle a little if you touch it but its not a touch screen so it doesn't need an extra heavy base. The monitor comes in Matte and Bright finish on the screen. I got the Matte finish which is great and reduces glare.

Cons: This monitor is value priced so it doesn't include all the goodies like on screen display for controls, and only has one type of input which is DVI capable of multiple monitor setup. It does have brightness controls and an on off button. It's ok with me because WIN 8.1 or the game you're in usually takes over all the monitor controls anyway. No built in speakers or USB. It does everything I need so no eggs off. Just hope it lasts a long time. The company sells an upgraded version of this model with more features if you want to pay more.

Other Thoughts: The ad said shipped from overseas 10-15 days shipping. Well almost all electronics are shipped from overseas, but I was really surprised when this showed up 3 days after the order. Thanks Newegg! Also, this monitor is primarily made for distribution in South Korea since all the instructions are in Korean. No problem. How much does it take to plug in a few cords.
