5 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: Absolutely great product. This thing is great for a small room being heated up. We ran this non-stop each night during the winter and sometimes during the early spring to keep us warm and it did a great job. We plan on using it next year.

Cons: It does feel a bit cheap but that's not really a big deal to me. Also, although it has a few safety points on it, small children might end up getting a small burn if they touch the hot grate. I advise just keeping an eye on that.

Other Thoughts: This product was great for us (A family of just two) and my cons should not push you away from it.

Also remember, this product is for smaller rooms and should not be used as a sole heat provider.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet

Pros: I bought two of these. I rent in a trailer with poor insulation an big non-triple pain windows. I bought these on special for $99 each. After 5 days of cold NW weather, where my 15KW heater turns on 5 min after it turns off all day long, two 1.5KW infrared heaters outshine the 15KW. I had read reviews talking bout how these should be used to supplement your primary heating system. That is why I bought two. I figured why overwork one and end up being somewhat disappointed. My additional reasoning is that each one pulls 12 amps on a 115v circuit. That only leaves a max of 3 amps left when each are on high. They use half of that when set to low. My living room is 15x12 my kitchen is 11x12 and are divided by a counter with a breakfast bar. I put one in each space on different circuits. I also have a 3x18 hallway. That's 366 ft2.Then I have 2 bedrooms & bath that add 306 ft2

Results: 1.5hrs to heat 366ft2 from 50F to 70F on high. Add 306ft2. I more hour after 366ft2 heated

Cons: Fan noise is not two bad. It is low pitched and sounds like a lower decibel house fan. Same tone but a lot less in volume. Not very noticeable with tv or radio on. Soothing at night.

Other Thoughts: I leave them on in an ECO mode which I recommend. They automatically switch from high to low by turning off 2 of the 4 quartz elements. The fan speed never changes until they cycle off at 68F. They also have a 2 stage timer that really like. If unit is off, you set it to turn on. If unit is on, you set it to turn off. At night, set on to turn off and the other to turn on on the weekends. Then I set both to turn on an hour before getting home from work.

Having 2 in tandem is awesome. When heating the entire space, both stay on low. With bedroom and bath doors closed, one turns off and the other stays on low. Then they switch. One turning back on and the off. The kitchen on stays off the longest because the other has the hallway area adjacent to main.

The heat is even. They kind of work like Vornado fans. Another thing I like is the filters in the back of the units. I have dust allergies and I am noticing a big difference. Regular fans make sneeze a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Heater

Pros: Power usage doesn't dim the lights. This unit does everything for you, once you plug it in and turn it on everything works as advertised. The bonus is when you turn it off, it automatically cools itself then power downs. Normally you would have to make sure your kids stay away from space heaters until it cools off because there would be no power on or the unit would be off but still hot to the touch. Great overall heater that works as designed. Also, this unit doesn't make any metal bending noises such as with the wire coil ones. Again, I fully recommend this heater for anybody looking for a small, clean and safe heater to warm up a family room or play room.

Cons: None so far.

1 out of 5 eggsWould Not Work Out of Box

Pros: Newegg took this item back.

Cons: Everything. Would not work out of box. Tried to email company. Email Returned, (Bad Email). Called on Phone and waited 1.25 hours before answered. They wanted to sent me a motor and for me to install it or send it back to them. And they even told me they would help me out by paying to have it shipped back to me. However, I have to pay to have it shipped to them. This company is not reliable. Glad I purchased it from Newegg. They took care of me with a refund. Thanks Newegg

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing heater

Pros: It really heats a large area, larger than I expected. We shall see when I get my first electric bill if it is as efficient as advertised.

Cons: Loud beep when adjusting temp.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works!

Pros: Its hot! It fits my décor well. It's super lite. Even has wheels. Instantly hot. Heats my living room well.

Cons: Thermostat doesn't work.. Set it to go to 70 it's really 76.. I looked it up. It's in the manual that said This will happen, But I can't see that being true. Huge gap in temp range. I do not have it looking at, or next to my thermostat for the heater either.

Other Thoughts: Waiting for the day it breaks.. I hear the heating elements go bad quite quickly. >.> but then again, It's the internet.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate to my review of LifeSmart infrared heater

Pros: Also see previous review - I said the fan was a little loud, but in fact it is not. I purchased another LifeSmart infrared heater model #LS1002HH13 right after I received the first LifeSmart LS-4P1500-HOM heater. The heater from the other retailer is a slightly smaller unit with 1500 watts and for 1200 sq ft., also has 4 quartz elements. But the fan is much louder. It does force the heat out better. Depends on your preference - quite or faster heat. Another reviewer "sonny" said the fan blower is weak and cannot distribute heat evenly. I agreed except I would prefer the lower fan noise. I am returning the other heater with the stronger fan blower and louder fan noise.

Cons: None right now, time will tell.

Other Thoughts: Correction to my previous review of "crossing my FINGERS and toes", I am sure you already figured it out.
I just purchased another one of these heater for a family member. Newegg has them on sale again at the same super great price.

5 out of 5 eggsLifeSmart LS-4P1500-HOM 1500W LED Portable Infrared Heater

Pros: BEST PRICE EVER, easy to operate, remote, light weight, portable, warms up room quickly, safety features,

Cons: When the fan comes on or when the unit is on, I can hear it, but not too bad. Not as loud as the furnace coming on at night. If the TV is on, it will not be noticeable after a little while. (I have this unit in the bedroom, only have it on during the day and keep the furnace temp or thermostat at around 63 to 66 degrees. Mainly use this unit at ECO setting at 68 degrees.)

Other Thoughts: I did a lot of research for these type of portable infrared heaters before buying. I read at least 50 to 100 reviews. Was very apprehensive due to the high numbers of unsatisfied buyers on ALL brands, but just as many satisfied buyers. My decision to buy this one is the PRICE. After weeks of research and not sure what to do, which one or where to buy it from. Newegg has a 48 hours sale for this unit at an incredible price and free shipping, so I bought it! I am very happy so far. Time will tell......
Also I have decided whether I got a good or bad unit is purely LUCK! I have my figures and toes crossed.
