Keep the party going with MIXTRAX, an innovative Pioneer technology that creates a nonstop mix of your music library complete with a range of DJ-inspired effects. Drawing from Pioneer's rich DJ heritage and our passion for music, MIXTRAX delivers a unique DJ infused listening experience to those in the car. MIXTRAX takes the music from an iPhone, iPod, USB device, or certain Android devices and plays it back with added transitions and effects, creating a virtual DJ inside the Pioneer receiver.

MIXTRAX makes automatic remixing of tracks extra-quick and easy. Simply connect your USB compatible device and listen as tracks are joined by various random sound effects in Nonstop Mix Play to keep the groove going in full swing.

MIXTRAX also features Club-Style Illumination that enhances the mood with a dynamic dance club-like lighting effect. As MIXTRAX begins, lights start pulsing to the beat of the music, adding an extra level of entertainment. Choose among multiple patterns of lighting variations from sound pressure level or low-pass synchronization modes.

Pandora is personalized Internet radio that is designed to help you discover new music that you'll love mixed in with music that you already know. With the DEH-X3700UI, you can enjoy superior sound quality and full control of the Pandora experience in your car directly from the touchscreen display of the receiver. You are able to give tracks "thumbs up" or "thumbs down," bookmark a song so you can purchase it later, easily switch between your personalized radio stations, and view full track data.

In-dash control for Pandora is compatible with iOS devices. Simply download and open the free Pandora Radio app to your iPhone and connect it to the DEH-X3700UI and take your music to the next level. iOS devices require a wired connection using the CD-IU51 USB interface cable for 30-pin models (sold separately) or CD-IU52 USB interface cable for Lightning models (sold separately).

Connect an iPod or iPhone to the DEH-X3700UI using the optional CD-IU51 interface cable for 30-pin models (sold separately) or CD-IU52 USB interface cable for Lightning models (sold separately) and enjoy the music stored on your device. Song, artist, time and album information are displayed on the LCD display. The Link Play feature helps you find content faster and the system's wired USB connection provides direct digital signal transfer from the device for clean, clear sound while providing 1 amp of current to keep your iPod/iPhone charged.

With App Mode you can enjoy listening and viewing the content on select compatible apps directly on the receiver's display from a connected iPhone or iPod Touch. Limited controls such as track forward or reverse may be executed from the receiver.
Note: Not all apps will be compatible with App Mode and App Mode will provide limited, if any, control over the app.

Users of Android devices running operating system 4.0 or later can connect and listen to music stored on their device to a compatible Pioneer CD receiver without the need for an app. The process is made possible using Media Transfer Protocol (MTP). MTP allows the Pioneer receiver to recognize the Android smartphone as a music storage device. Users can now access music via USB stored on an Android device and operate basic operations like FF, REW, Play, Pause, Random Play, and Repeat. Metadata information such as track, artist, and album name can be displayed.

Dual Zone Color Customization Illumination allows you to customize the color of the text on-screen as well as select another color for the button illumination so you can express your personality right in your dash. Over 210,000 colors are available for an endless number of color combinations to match the illumination in any vehicle. The front USB port and AUX input are also fully illuminated.

New! The 10-Level Brightness Control allows you to customize the brightness of your screen. This adjustment can be made with 10 levels of brightness allowing you to adjust the MIXTRAX and illumination settings to your liking.

Anonymous 9/12/2015 9:31:38 AM Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Just an FYI This review is from: Pioneer DEH-X3700UI CD receiver Pros: Sounds Good,,, Decent Power for what it is,, plays from USB drive,, Good price Point,, Cons: Will not play a flash drive formatted in ex-Fat,, only Fat,,, so the mini flash drive I bought just for this is useless,, unless I figure out how to format it in plain FAT,, I'm using a micro sd card with a USB adapter,, works fine,, but the flash drive would have fit just right without sticking out,,, It will continue to scroll title information across the display forever,, as far as I can tell you can't shut it off,, it's my music,,, I know what it is,,, gonna get the electric tape fix,,, display is to bright for me,, i have it turned all the way down, and dark blue,,, and the control sections are still to bright at night,, there gonna get the black magic marker,,, LOL the heat sink in the back gets very hot,, I had it hooked up to listen too, and to check connections,, while finishing the installation,, and at only half power,, the heat sink was to hot to touch,, can't imagine how hot it gets when you crank it,, Other Thoughts: bought this to replace an old pioneer unit that only played cd's,, which after 20 plus years still worked perfectly,, for 80$ I'll live with the issues,, luckilly I'm not to picky,,, or I'd RMA it,, Did you find this review helpful? Cons: Clearly states it's a Pioneer DEH-X3700UI CD Receiver with PAC SWI-RC Steering Wheel Control Interface. According to Newegg it's mis-priced... yet they haven't changed the description. Other Thoughts: I bought this item directly from Newegg. Based on the description I was led to believe I would received both a Pioneer DEH-X3700UI CD Receiver and a PAC SWI-RC Steering Wheel Control Interface. I only received the stereo. I contacted Newegg to fix the problem and was told that the item was mis-priced and was only offered a refund. Without being critical (so my review will be posted by Neweegg as I feel it's important) I eventually received the PAC SWI-RC but it was still my strong impression that there was a mistake with item's description... yet 15 days later they haven't change anything. So if I'm simply wrong, then yeah this is a great deal as both these items elsewhere would cost between $120-$150 and right now it's listed at $79.99. The Pioneer stereo is great and the PAC SWI-RC will make it so that if your vehicle has steering wheel mounted stereo controls they'll still work with the aftermarket stereo. But if I'm wrong, this needs to be corrected already as the confusion led to much... frustration... that was unnecessary. Did you find this review helpful?
