4 out of 5 eggsDecent controller with some things to know

Pros: I gotta admit when I look for a new product I do a ton of research and sometimes it takes up a bit too much of my time. I ordered one of these and everything about it was great, except for a few things which I'll get to later.

Pros-
-solid controller, nice grip, really nice precise analog sticks without any dead zones
-plug and play with any game I've tried so far with no further configuration needed
-break-away cable so that if you happen to jerk out the controller from the usb cable it doesn't break the whole thing

Before I get to the cons, keep in mind that these are mostly my opinion and so I won't let most of these things affect the amount of eggs it gets; it will be as fair as I can make it.

Cons: Cons: The triggers are too hard to press down (this might not be a problem for you but I played super meat boy on it which required holding down RT to move faster and after about an hour it got pretty tiring so I had to either switch fingers or pause a bit. If you like racing games and such this won't be a problem for you but rather a benefit because the amount of pressure the triggers give allow it to give you more control)
-the triggers are mapped as z-axis and not LT/RT (since it's analog these buttons in some games become mapped as a seperate axis and not as buttons so you might have some problems if you're configuring an emulator)
-stiff dpad (maybe you like this feature, maybe you don't, but I tried playing classic NES castlevania with this and turning around was a nightmare. I had to press the buttons down fairly hair before any movement would register. It's not to say it isn't responsive; it is, but it requires too much pressure. Again, this might be a positive for you if you play fighting games or something since unless you press definitely there won't be any 'ghost' inputs. As for the accuracy, it's good; there was no input made that I didn't press myself)
-loud LB/RB buttons (maybe it's just me but I don't like when my controller is too loud. It has nice satisfying clicks but the LB and RB buttons are really clicky and rather loud)

Other Thoughts: That's pretty much the only 'problems' with the controller. It's all personal taste and honestly I would reccomend it to anyone as long as they first tried it out and see how they liked the triggers and dpad. If you like those, then this is a controller that's really great for the price, I might even say better than the xbox360 because of the dpad (and we all know how bad the dpad on the 360 controller was)

Hope this helped. I spent a lot of time researching pc controllers and passing down that info is the least I could do.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: -cheap
-works with both pc and xbox

Cons: I had trouble with the right thumb stick, it kept sending a signal once in awhile to my xbox, messing up whatever I was doing

Other Thoughts: Only get this if you like mediocrity

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than 1st party

Pros: Solid construction
Uses MS driver
Great Dpad
Excellent feedback on triggers and joysticks
Buttons dont depress into shell like MS cont.
Easy to find cheaper than MS controller

Cons: Very slightly smaller than MS controller.
Bumper and joystick clicks are very audible.

Other Thoughts: This is, to this day, the only controller that I would select to use over a first party controller for a console. I was skeptical at first, because I had usually only trusted first party brands to deliver a quality controller, but the GPX definitely changed my mind. The controller just feels better to use than the standard MS one, and it is build just as well. My favorite part are the buttons, then just feel better and more tight to press than MS. I also prefer these stiff triggers for racing games, they feel more precise than MS. My only real dislike of this controller comes from the ergonomic feel. It is only slightly smaller than the MS, and angled more inward it seems. Still feels great to hold onto, but not as seemless as the MS. Despite that, I would still rather play on this than a MS controller. Buy this, you wont regret it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Simple design, nothing flashy or obstinant. Triggers are nice and stiff, sticks have minimal dead zone.

Cons: Trigger shape feels wierd at first, but you get used to it

Other Thoughts: Connected to my laptop for games like Borderlands 2, Skyrim, and Brutal Legend, and Fallout New Vegas. Using microsofts driver from thier site, all these games pick it right up.

5 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: Nothing big to talk up about the controller. It's a basic XBox360 controller that works on my PC. No bells and whistles here. Nice solid construction. Long enough cord to plug into my mechanical KB. Triggers are pretty sensitive, and differ in many ways from an OEM XBox360 controller. They are more finger friendly IMO. Have other game pads that companies have tried to modify the triggers, and it just makes rapid firing in FPS games almost impossible. This one, however, does not seem to have that problem. Not too heavy or big. Just a basically good overall stock controller.

Cons: R&L sticks are set a little low. Makes them not as sensitive as other higher end controllers. Cord could be a little longer. It's about 6 feet, which is the norm. But newer higher end controllers come with at least an 8-10 foot cord on them now days. Doesn't have to reach across the room for my use, but may be a problem for others. No biggies.

Other Thoughts: Bought this just to have a basic controller sitting around the house for when company is over. Or when someone that is hard on accessories wants to use it. These are so cheap that they are basically a throw away when dead game pad. Plays driving games, FPS, RPG, and action adventure games surprisingly well for such a tiny price tag. I might get the other one made by the same company that has all the lighting features and supposed better build quality. Very nice, would buy another if this one dies.
