TONS of aps like Netflix, Break.com, Youtube, etc. Connection to internet (no wifi) through ethernet was easy. Even though others have claimed its loud, I have owned 4 Blu-ray players and can say that this is the quietest blu-player of the lot. Boots up quickly. Reviewer says that when you hit the eject button (when unit is off) the tray doesn't open, but infact it does. Newegg process makes it a steal. Cons: No wifi built in (most do not). You might be able to buy adapter, but my router is located in the same spot as the player. Has maybe too many options in the main menu for "simple minded" people. I however enjoyed that. The remote works perfectly, BUT being an open box it has a speck of something rattling around which is annoying but hey 50% off... Also has some smudging on top (because it was an open box); though I could wipe it off with a little elbow grease, but could not. Other Thoughts: If it wasn't for Newegg I wouldn't purchase an open box item; I've had so terrible of luck with open boxed items. But item arrived quickly, and works perfectly fine.
