Pros: This is a typical charger. The labeled wattage doesn't really mean anything; each port provides what is requested from the wall up to its maximum. What makes it interesting is that the power cable is on the side, rather than the rear, so the plugs are at a 90 degree angle. This may be useful for your desk setup.

Cons: Ugly blue power light that stays on. Honestly I don't know where these designers come up with "blue lights=cool". I wish they'd stop with this nonsense. At least it's dulled significantly and is not terribly annoying, but -1 egg anyway.

The plastic case is very light; it looks like there's not much in terms of electronics inside and not particularly dense. I don't understand why it's so big as this could be much much thinner (even a long square rectangular prism). Poor design I guess. Lost another egg.

Other Thoughts: Apart from the power cable on the side, I notice it's a tad bit short. The cable is a standard power cable, so it's easy to replace if necessary.

I'm still not sure why certain ports are labeled the way they are, as I tested each port using a USB hub and a bunch of other devices. Each USB port pulled the same amount.

Pros: none that I can write about... both items (I bought a combo Qty 2) DOA

Cons: Higher-output ports do not work at all... other ports also died after a day or two!

Other Thoughts: Have asked for replacement... if the replaced items also turn out DOA, then I will not buy this again!

Pros: I got this as a free gift when buying other items.
Works great for me!

Cons: None yet. I've only used 2 ports at one time though. I haven't tested this out by using all ports at once yet.

Other Thoughts: Today (1/3/16) I ordered one for my girlfriend for her side of the bed. No more trying to use mine, lol.

Pros: This charging station will charge 5 devices at once. There are 2 dedicated iPad ports that support 2.1 amps each and 3 generic 1 amp ports labeled samsung tab, iPhone and android. There is a maximum output of 6 amps so if you are charging 2 ipads and 3 iphones you won't get the maximum output at the individual ports all at once but with 2 iPads and 2 iPhones you will get the maximum output.

I tested the charge from the dedicated iPad ports and saw a pretty consistant 1.97 amps at 5.03 volts while charging my iPad 3. The 10 watt iPad power block that comes with the iPad showed 1.94 amps at 5.02 volts. I also tested the generiic ports as saw 1.03 amps at 5.04 vots when charging my GS4.

Overall I really like this charger. It is small, portable and works great with all my devices as well as being surge protected so an electrical jolt won't fry my devices.

Cons: Cord is only 3 feet long so you may have issues reaching areas far away from your outlet. I am using this on a desk so I don't have an issue but a 5 foot cord would be nice.

Other Thoughts: I think this charger is really nice. You have multiple ports for multiple devices to charge all at once. It eliminates the need to crowd an outlet with usb ports as this will charge 5 devices at once in one location. The product is also light enough to carry with you if you are a student or travel frequently for business.

Pros: I don't know why chargers are often so expensive, especially for iPads and similar devices, but this one is great. I have it next to a USB hub, and when devices only need a charge, I plug it into this. Additionally, I have hard drives that have two USBs, one for power and the other for transfer. I plug the power into this device and the other to transfer.

If you try to power a lot off a hub, it usually doesn't get enough power to the hard drives, so having a devices like this is extremely helpful.

I have been able to power multiple 2.5" Sata hard drives off of this. Does exactly what I need it to do.

Cons: It gets a little bit warm. It may not be super efficient, but doesn't use many watts anyways.

Cons: Worked for about a week. Then the higher-output ports stopped working. It's all a bunch of hogwash.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the hassle of returning. Paid 10 bucks, but will lose money on it just to pay gas to post office and postage to return it. I don't need any more errands.
