4 out of 5 eggsBig battery at good price

Pros: Large capacity battery in relatively small size. Light weight compared to my other equivalent 10k MaH battery. Four indicator lights seem somewhat accurate. Comes on automatically when plugged in to charge something.

Cons: It is slippery, glossy black plastic that is a fingerprint magnet. Prefer a matte finish and can tolerate shiny plastic, but this looks greasy after just holding for 15 seconds. Eh, its not made to be pretty. Also don't care for the rounded edges - can't stand up on any edge, can only lay flat upright.

Other Thoughts: All other aspects work as expected for the device size.

1 out of 5 eggsWas good while it worked

Pros: When I first got this, it worked amazingly. It could charge my phone about 2-3 full charges from 0% to 100% and maybe still have some juice left over.

Cons: After about a 7 months i noticed that the capacity of this device kept getting lower and lower. Now, it can barely charge my phone 30%before it goes from full to shutting off. When I plug it in to charge, it sometimes would say that the device is fully charged or would finish charging in 30 minutes which is bogus. Now this thing is just paperweight.

Other Thoughts: I was willing to accept the fact that this thing did not come with a iPhone 5 charger AND the fact that the iPhone charger type before that does not work because the pins are are the wrong side and thus cannot be plugged in. I was even willing to overlook the bulky cheap looking design as long as it worked. Now it doesn't work.

1 out of 5 eggsAn affordable paper weight

Pros: It comes with a really sweet carrying bag

Cons: After a couple days of use it has proven to me that it is complete rubbish. I gave it a 100% full charge when I got it, and then used it to simultaneously charge my S5 (about 30%) and an old Comet (0%) to test it's charging capabilities. When I woke up both phones were charged and this unit showed 2 of of 4 blue lights for capacity. I come home same day after work to let it charge my S5 again (trying to completely drain unit) and magically it had gone from 2/4 blue lights earlier to single blinking light which means it charges phone for about 2 seconds and then shuts off cause it's out of juice. So basically you give it a full charge and after some light use it's drained again.

Other Thoughts: It feel cheap. Also the advertisement on site for the different adapters is wrong, it didn't come with a single cable which you then plug different heads into as shown, it only came with two micro USB cables and then a micro>USB and a micro>Samsung adapter, no iphone adapter and other adapters as shown. I would recommend going with something else and spend a bit more money

5 out of 5 eggsGreat charger

Pros: I have had for over a week now and no problems so far. The charger is very slim and has a charge indicator. It also holds 10,000mAh which i have personally found useful in situations without power. It also has dual ports so i am not limited to charging just 1 device at a time.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat shape, nice looking design

Pros: This small great shape design external battery give me an interesting first look.
I like pretty much the curve border and feel quite comfortable to hold.
It also looks durable, good quality and solid.
It has 2 USB ports (1A and 2A) designed for charging both a tablet and a smartphone at the same time.
The capacity 10000mAh is somewhat good enough for you to carry along.
I can enjoy a few movies during the weekend without worrying about running out of battery.
The price for me is affordable compare to other products I searched.
The LED power indicator will tell you when you should full fill it.
Its package also includes a few common connectors compatible with several kinds of smartphones and tablets in the market.

Cons: It doesn't includes lightning connectors somehow.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend this to anyone searching for an external battery

5 out of 5 eggsgreat power bank

Pros: This is an excellent external battery and it fits well in my pocket. I took it on vacation and it working well with my iPhone 6, Nexus 7 2013, and iPad Air 2. I would like to recommend this to my friends. Charge my phone and tablet at the same time without any issue; still had two bars left. If you travel a lot and do not have much chances to plug in your device this battery charger is a must; the 1000mah capacity is enough to charge most cell phones 5-6 times. This battery charger also come with adapter tips because you never know what device you might need to plugged in next. That will be great if they can include the lightening adapter.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsGREAT Portable charger!!!!!

Pros: Compact lightweight high capacity charger will charge most phones more than once without needing a recharge. Charge 2 devices at one time from the 1A or 2A usb slot, charge the unit from the micro usb to usb slot. Blue lights show how much power is left. Flannel bag to carry the charger in. Weight is only 8.29 oz. Overcurrent and Short Circuit protection. Package includes usb to DC3.5mm cable with 4 charge connectors. For the price this is one of the best chargers you will find on the market today. Recharge over 500 times!!!!!

Cons: Charge connectors. I have never been a fan of the connectors from several vendors. It takes a little playing with to get the connector to fit tightly into my phone. Using my own phone cord without the connector leaves me no problems.

Other Thoughts: This company uses only top quality batteries. There chargers are some of the top on the market I have found today. For the price you will give yourself peace of mind and several hours of connectivity when your battery is low.

2 out of 5 eggsThree strikes you're out

Pros: Cheap, picked it up on sale November 2013 for 25%.
Dual USB ports.
Indicator showed battery level with a press of a button
Power on/off button.
Slim, easy to fit in pockets.
10,000 mAh

Cons: Dead after 3 charges.
I bought this at the time out electricity was spotty at best due to a storm, but never needed it. I used it four times (it arrived charged) to charge my phone, recharged 3 times, the forth time it wouldnt charge.

Provided wires were shoddy at best, very loose fittings that wore out without any use.

Other Thoughts: I was planning on buying another battery bank to have on hand, seen this one was on sale (at the time of writing this review it is 25.99$ with 15% off promo code), and considered buying it.

I will not be buying this item again. I will give RAVPower another chance at some point in the future, but to have this thing break on its forth charge a few months past the 1 year warranty is unacceptable.
