4 out of 5 eggsGood battery

Pros: Lasted almost a year. Great for the super low price. I used this constantly. The battery was still fine but the charging circuitry ended up going out.

Cons: lasted less than a year, - 1 egg.

1 out of 5 eggsSave your $$, stay away.

Pros: It charge but the 12,000 mAh capacity is joke to me.

Cons: Tried i5 to charge from 4% to 75%, took 2+ hr with fully charged powerbank. Blue indicator said its still at 75% (three blue LED), so tried to charge ipad2 Air and left overnite and it only charged from 35% to 85% and died. The USB connector that comes with two small cable, pin of i4 (40 pin connector) is totally wrong, it won't plug into i4, compared side by side with apple cable (and some other cable) and its wrongfully created, the plastic connector is totally opposite. There is two small "L" shaped cut at each end, on pin that came with powerbank its upside down and on the apple cable is opposite. So its manufactured wrong, if you try to push it will break your phone connector so be careful. I will try to post picture so people can see it.

Other Thoughts: Left power bank charging overnite, will try to run capacity test to see if it anywhere near 12,000 mAh capacity. As someone stated that Newegg should run a lab test on these type battery packs and publish the actual capacity on the product page. Also, while testing the battery packs, check the quality of the connector ports.

3 out of 5 eggsClose, but needs some improvement

Pros: Fully charges a dead iPad Air 2. Small, Tops off the phone to make it through the day.

Cons: All 3 connectors, (2 USB out, one 1A USB out, one 2A USB out, and the small USB power in port) are loose fits. Tried a number of different cables, and all are a loose fit and fall out easily. Hard to carry around in a bag to recharge something without the cable becoming disconnected.

Other Thoughts: This unit is labeled as having a 12,000 mAh capacity. After hearing that many of these battery packs exaggerate their capacity, I decided to test it. Fully charged the RavPower pack, and took the battery out of my cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy S4, and saw it was rated at 2600 mAh. Ran the phone completely dead and then charged it from the RAVPower with the phone turned off. Then ran the phone down again, and repeated. Got 3.6 phone charges out of the RAVPower battery pack, which calculates to roughly 9400 mAh. Still pretty good, but not quite the stated 12,000 mAh. Newegg should run a lab test on these type battery packs and publish the actual capacity on the product page. Also, while testing the battery packs, check the quality of the connector ports.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Just received this power bank for review. Smartphones and tables are becoming more integrated into our daily life, we are using and relying on them more and more. Unfortunately, the increase in the use of mobile devices has outpaced the operating time of the batteries in many of those devises. I got a great chance to review on this nice portable charger. So far this charging my devices fast without over-heating problem. It can holds a good amount of power (12000mAh) which is enough to charge my devices during times where I don't have access to electricity. There are two ports (Output: DC 5V / 3.1A (2A+1A)) for charging two devices at the same time. The LED signal lights, it shows an approximate of the remaining battery on the charger. The battery pack comes with the necessary cables to connect to an external charger and to connect to the devices being charged for some Apple devices you must use an Apple supplied connector.

Cons: Overall this is a good quality and beautiful design portable charger. Awesome product! I would recommend this product to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggsRAVPower Element 12000mAh External Battery Pack

Pros: This is 4th Rav Power External Battery Pack that I have bought in last year or so. I lost 1 and have bought 1 to replace it and 2 for family and friends. All work great and are extremely handy when battery is low. They travel well.

Cons: None that I have encountered.

Other Thoughts: Great for pocket , glove box, purse, brief case store almost anyplace.

5 out of 5 eggsRAVPower RP-PB07U

Pros: Love it. Dependably holds nearly full charge for a couple months. Like the lights that indicate battery's status.. Like the on/off switch. Came in a nice case with two cords and a set of interchangeable adapters for multiple styles of USB connectors. Will run an IPhone playing music at least on 4 Coast to Coast flight (both directions.) If my S4 Samsung or IPhone runs out of battery, it runs the phone and charges it at the same time charging either phone to about 60% of full battery in less than an hour. It seems to be around 1% charge / minute. It will charge two phones at once just as quickly. It's saved my my b-tt many times.

Cons: interchangeable adapters little flimsy and I've broken one and don't know how to replace it. Little bit heavy and big like all very high capacity portable lithium batteries.

Other Thoughts: Liked it so much I bought its bigger brother 14,000MAh, which included a bonus led flashlight. All the above applies to this too but it lasts even longer.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems to work fine

Pros: Nice compact size - Certainly inexpensive (but not cheap IMHO).

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: I purchased it for an external power supply for my Mobius camera. I'm not even certain if this was an intended purpose (or I was using the proper output) but, I used it for hours at a time during a recent vacation. PS: I don't think the Mobius uses much power because it the RAV still showed "4 Bars" after several hours use.. YMMV
