Skullcandy S2FFFA-003 50/50 In-Ear Canal Stereo Earbuds with In-Line Mic - Black/Black (2011)

Pros: Awesome sound on my phone and laptop. These headphones are hands down the best I have used that are not rated for complete audiophiles. They handle FLAC files very well as well as WAV and MP3. The mic works extremely well even on my Android phone, and it can allow my to receive calls using the button as well as hang up calls.

Cons: the remote only allows volume controll on Apple products. This annoyed me a but but with a good CM ROM on my phone, controlling my volume from my phone in my pocket is not that hard, even on the go.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, if you are just getting these for the ease of access to the features to the volume control and such, stop. If you want good sound but do not want to pay out the wazoo, then get these. One thing I wish it did have, is the ability to press the button on the remote and activate a voice dial program that utilizes the in-line mic.

Pros: These headphones are some of the best I have heard for the money. This is my second pair my first pair got stolen. Thats how good they are. I got this pair for 14.99 off here. They costs 59.99 in other places.

Cons: Volume controls do not work with samsung galaxy s3!

Other Thoughts: These have really nice bass and outside sounds can't be heard.

Pros: I was very impressed with the quality of the audio and the levels. I watched some videos I had seen previously and was surprised at the background sounds I had not even noticed on regular headphones.

Cons: The regular price is very high, but the sale price at New Egg was acceptable.

Pros: Sound good.

Cons: "Made for iPhone, iPod, iPad" so no mic output with my Galaxy S3. Not clear at time of order. Made clear by reviews after my order was placed.

Cons: I don't and will never use Apple products, they can build their "specific product inherent" empire without me. So, these earbuds DO NOT WORK when the plug is fully inserted into ANY non-Apple device. Not my computers, not my Sansa mp3 player, not my Ceative Zen, not in my Blackberry, not in my friend's LG phone...UNLESS you pull the plugin jack out a little and hold it there, and then they're wonderful! Powerful, dynamically balanced, beautiful sound. And any site you look on for these shows suggested addons of all different brands of mp3 players. I knew the mic wouldn't work, but I couldn't imagine that sound would be ANY kind of issue. I was misled by "suggested" or "also bought with" products on multiple sites, and will be requesting an RMA shortly. Apple's still making sure only their stuff fits their stuff. These work fine on my brothers iPad but not on my Nexus 10.

Other Thoughts: I've now heard music I've had from the 70's as it was intended to be heard!

Granted, I've only had cheap headphones, earbuds before. ($10 and under). I know some technology in terms of my computers, and love music, but have never felt I had the funds to get good headphones. I thought I'd have to spend the amount of money Bose headphones cost.

These were a gift, and now I feel as if I've been missing a whole world of music for 40 years. Now I want really great speakers for mylaptop computer music. (I have $15 ones). (If you have suggestions for great sounding ones in this price range please let me know.)

I have not worked with the volume and call feature for my phone. (sorry) My friend gave these to me in the box with everything but directions. I'll update once I've made calls from my first smartphone.

I would pay for these if only for MP3 player and music on my laptop (and movies-WOW).

The first song I listened to was a Fleetwood Mac one that I've heard a million times since the 70's. I heard so many levels, and instruments I'd never heard before in the song. I felt like I was 'there' listening to the way it was meant to be.

Probably not as impressive to someone who has tried many types, brands, and price points of headphones.

This would be a great gift for the 'someone who has everything' or the teen or Mom or anyone who hasn't been a big sound person in their life. I didn't know I needed or wanted this until I got it as a gift. My friend was delighted to see me listen with the earbuds for the first time. If someone has just gotten their first smart phone, or doesn't have headphones to get calls on their phone hands free, this would also be a great gift.
