1 out of 5 eggsNo low-end whatsoever

This review is from: JBL J22A High-Performance In-Ear Headphones with Microphone - Black

Pros: They were pretty cheap

Cons: They sound awful

Other Thoughts: Don't believe the other reviewers. I bought these because I'd had great experiences with other JBL earbuds (even the ones packaged with a budget smartphone like the Alcatel Idol 3). Unfortunately, they're not even a good value at the price I paid ($25). The high end is clear, but there is no bass at all. They might be the tinny-est earbuds I've ever heard. How bad? Apple EarPods sound 300% better. Which sucks because a lot of people will want these as an inexpensive and better sounding replacement for Apple's buds, but they aren't. Don't waste your money. I will be trying to send mine back.

4 out of 5 eggsReview of JBL J22A

This review is from: JBL J22A High-Performance In-Ear Headphones with Microphone - Black

Pros: Sounds quality: 8/10
It has a decent amount of bass complimented by an alright sounding highs and lows.
Does have a respectable sound cancelling 6/10
It's length is huge, good for tall people, not so good for short people hence you will have extra amounts of length to hide away.
Does not get tangled
Mic quality is on point 10/10 (for phone calls)

Cons: Sometimes the earphones fall off easily, takes time to adjust, maybe improve the method of ear-buds to ear implementations?
Length is rather big.
The real big thing is trying to get these ear-buds to stay inside my ears Q.Q

Other Thoughts: Overall 7.5/10.

2 out of 5 eggsNot great at all, even for 10 bucks when i got them.

This review is from: JBL J22A High-Performance In-Ear Headphones with Microphone - Black

Pros: The length of the cord was nice and they do not tangle.

Cons: The MIC DIED IN THE FIRST WEEK. Not worth the shipping back, so Ill pretend I never needed the mic feature.

The ear buds do fall out of my ear easily, even when im not doing quick head movements.

Other Thoughts: Besides the Mic failing, I am aware that these were ten dollars when I got them and you get what you pay for. For it having the JBL name, the over all sound was mediocre bass, mids and trebles. They're seriously on the same level as the free ear phones that come with the Sansa clip+, if not, a little worse than the Sansa's.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product and great price.

This review is from: JBL J22A High-Performance In-Ear Headphones with Microphone - Black

Pros: A nice set of in-Ear headphones with mic. It works well with my Samsung phone and in my car.
Would buy from the seller again.
Good buy.

Cons: It takes time to get used to the ear buds.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this item to others who need to use this with their phone in their car.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Performance and Long Lasting

This review is from: JBL J22A High-Performance In-Ear Headphones with Microphone - Black

Pros: The JBL J22a earbuds are a solid product. The cord is long which gives you freedom to roam from your device or computer. The sound is amazing as well. This product could be used for casual audio entertainment (audio and video). I have used this with multiple Android devices and an iPhone. I have nothing bad to say about the sound quality. The rubber inserts come in different sizes to adjust to your in-ear comfort. The plug is well-constructed to last. Lastly, in the numerous cell phone conversations that I have had using this product, no one on the other end has complained about not being able to hear me. I highly recommend this product.

Cons: As much of a benefit that the long cord is, it can also be a disadvantage in that you could easily entangle it in your office chair arms or step on the cord if your chair is low to the ground. This is a minor inconvenience for me, not worth taking an egg away at all. If this is a huge problem, then go the Bluetooth route.

Other Thoughts: I did have a problem with slow delivery. I suspected that the courier misdelivered my package. I called Newegg, and they replaced my order. I appreciate the attention to customer service and satisfaction. This is my 2nd purchase of 2 of these. I always buy two incase one gets damages. As luck would have it the first set was damaged, not due to poor product quality, but my kids! I don't think any head set or ear buds will be kid-proof!

1 out of 5 eggsWHERE ARE THE MIDS?

This review is from: JBL J22A High-Performance In-Ear Headphones with Microphone - Black

Pros: Great Highs and deep lows. Design isnt that bad. The material is kind of rubbery which rubs and snags on your clothing.

Cons: There are no mids. You cant really enjoy the music because you hear is tweeter and bass. Ridiculous. I dont understand how all these people are raving about the sound. It SUCKS!

Other Thoughts: Apple headphones sound way better on so many levels. Also they are much more versatile for movement.

5 out of 5 eggsNot AMAZING but GREAT for the price

This review is from: JBL J22A High-Performance In-Ear Headphones with Microphone - Black

Pros: Price

These headphone have a 3.5mm jack. They will fit pretty much any portable device the outputs sounds i.e Apple Products. Works on my Samsung Note 3 & My iPad 2. They all have the same size ports.

MIC & Single key to pause/stop/ double tap to switch songs, will differ in function with different devices/settings.

These sound better than original stock headphone that come with iPhone. Great for blocking out background noise

Not AMAZING but they are GREAT for $15-$20 price range

Clear Highs, Great Mids, Medium Lows (Bass)

Sound test, could start to hear at about 16,000Hz (Same as high dollar gaming headset)

Also fit under gaming heaset ear cups fairly comfortably.

Thin Tape style Cord

Comes with additional ear pieces, cord clip for working out (removable)

Comes with nice easy open/close pouch

Cons: Could use a little more base, but they are really tiny, bass is really fine for the size, doesn't get a whole lot better unless you get into the 100 dollar range.

Could use volume up and down keys

Other Thoughts: May not be as comfortable due to them going "inside" the ear rather than just setting in the brim, but it's just the type of piece they are. Either take the comfort w/o blocking out background or a little less comfort and block out all background noise

Best headphone on the market for 15-20 dollars

1 out of 5 eggsBroke after 1 week of use

This review is from: JBL J22A High-Performance In-Ear Headphones with Microphone - Black

Pros: Sounded alright, if the earphones were pushed in all the way, no better sound than any other comparable cheap headphones.

Cons: These headphones broke after just over a week of use. Left headphone doesn't have any sound.Earbuds would constantly fall out, none of the sizes fit well in my ear. Pause button was very sensitive and would be pressed accidentally all the time. Would not recommend.

Other Thoughts: don't buy these
