The Hosa Passive Direct Box offers an easy way to connect your guitar/ bass/ keyboard etc. to a mixing console!* It features a built-in isolation transformer that transforms an instrument-level signal to a line-level signal. You can directly hook up your electronic musical instrument to it for a pure, clean, noise-free tone. Or, throw the built-in INST/LINE switch to LINE position, and enables your amplifier to drive the line for a natural, overdriven tone. Either way, it's your sound—all of it!

*Note: this unit can work with electric guitars, basses, and keyboards, pedal effects and effects processors, and any electronic musical instrument with a mono phone output.
