4 out of 5 eggsjust good

Pros: They sound great. I hear details I never new were there. I enjoy the wide selection of tips. Find the right fit definitely help comfort

Cons: As with any good speaker or headphones you'll find yourself much more sensitive to recording quality. I can't stand to listen to some albums because the source recording is bad and good headphone don't help. But good recording become far more enjoyable.

Other Thoughts: I was originally shock how tinny the sound was but I knew these headphones need some break in time. Mine only took half an hour or so before the base filled in.

I'm not sure how well these thing will handle wax build up yet.

5 out of 5 eggsKlipsch S4 Reference

Pros: Perfect sound. Full , round, nothing sharp, nothing muddy. Exactly what I was looking for. Did not break the bank. Sounds as good as my B&W's , which kinda irks me a little. SO they are as good as $ 300 headphones.

Cons: Have not found any yet. Except they are as good as ones I paid 6 times as much for.

Other Thoughts: Just but a set. YOu will not regret it.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Sound and Niiice bass !!!

Pros: Very good sound, very articulate, much more bass comparing to regular S4 Image IEMs, even though both IEMs use the same hardware, light-weight, good quality plastic and cord, I do not have problems with cord echo, bass comparable to Thinksound TS-02, but sound is nicer, and bass is cleaner, though TS-02 are less sound-fatiqueing on your ears then listened for long time, in Refence IEMs you listen to the music with very nice bass levels, not overwhelming, but very vocal and present on all octaves, highly recommend, especially if you like the original S4 Image, Reference IEMs fixed the bass lack issue of S4 Image, the music became perfect once Klipsch got the bass present and felt in those Reference IEMs

Cons: No mic, no remote thanks to "BLIPPING !!!" Apple that patented three-button remote, the thing it never invented, I used in-line remotes back in 1990s with my Panasonic and Technics tape and portable CD players, now all Android users are limited in their choices, I would get S4 References with mic and remote if I could, but thanks to "BLIPPING" Apple I cannot - Apple truly limits competition in IEMs with Remotes for Android platform - I will not buy anything from APPLE ever

Other Thoughts: in my daily life I use In-Ear Monitors such as Thinksound TS-02, Klipsch S4-A Image and Klipsch Reference S4 Premium, at home I listen to Yamaha Pro 500 headphones driven by Yamaha RX-V671 Receiver, Bi-Amp wired with C2G 12AWG speaker wires to Polks Monitor 70s Series II, 2/0 setup ( I live in apartment :-)
