5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

This review is from: VM Audio Elux EXHB100 On Ear DJ Stereo Bass Headphones for MP3/iPod

Pros: - Deep base (Especially for price point). Obvious upgrade from my 4 year old $50 Sony headset.
- Clear audio all over its extensive range
- Effective passive noise canceling
- Comes with 3.5mm patch cable port (And 5' cable), not embedded cable. Usually the first thing to go wrong with headsets is the connection from cable to headset, this way, if it goes bad, you can just get a new cable for cheap. Plus if the cable gets caught, it gets ripped out cleanly instead of your ears.
- Very comfortable
- Quite stylish for the price point. Cheaper brand, but logo is stylized and does not at all look cheap, and construction is and looks solid.
- Padding is nice.
- Earpieces articulate (turn) slightly, so they lie flush to your head, not at an awkward angle.
- Headset packs up nicely into a provided hard-shell case.

Cons: - Tightness is noticeable when I'm wearing my glasses, but I still wore them comfortably for a marathon session of ~6 hours.
- It's a little difficult to change the length of the arms while wearing the headset.

Other Thoughts: - I have tall, thin ears... the rectangular shape accommodates them nicely!
- Since you can, you might consider getting a 12-20 foot patch cable for this, since, well, you can. My bed faces my desktop, so I can use these headphones to watch videos, listen to music without having to use an extension cable. Less connections equals a better connection.

Very happy! Now to see if it lasts! (I'll be back in a couple months)
