2 out of 5 eggsVery disappointing

Pros: It's a great idea and sort of works, but it has some faults.

Cons: My first set crapped out after a few months. Customer support was very good, but the replacement unit is still not performing properly - see below.

Other Thoughts: The "tearing" I originally experienced died off and the units performed well for several months. But after a while the transmitter and receiver started rebooting spontaneously. They were both very warm to the touch and it would happen once they got hot.

I received a replacement set a couple of days ago and while they're not rebooting yet, the IR remote is consistently failing.

I think this is a lost cause. Great idea, but very poor engineering and/or product testing.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well enough

Pros: It works as expected, but with problems noted in the "Cons" area. It's really nice to have a remote TV in my workshop slaved to the one in my office.

Cons: I have to reset the transmitter every morning because the IR remote stops responding overnight. Lately, the picture has started tearing and rolling every few days. Resetting the transmitter fixes this as well - so far. My transmitter may be faulty.

Other Thoughts: Don't put the IR transmitter too close to the tuner's IR receiver. It's pretty powerful and can "flood" the tuner's IR receiver. I've got mine about 12" away, and to the side.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Worked right out of the box.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm only transmitting the HDMI signal about 20' but it is flawless. I'm using this with a projector and signal function prior to the DVD player being turned on is different than with a direct connect HDMI cable. T

he projector searches for a signal that isn't there until the DVD player is turned on. With a cable connection the projector bulb stayed on until a signal was received. With this HDMI transmitter the projector bulb cycles on and off as the projector searches for a signal. The bulb is off for perhaps 2 or 3 minutes then turns on for about 10 seconds then turns off again. Not a big deal ........... I just make sure the DVD player is on when the projector is turned on.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks very well

Pros: Worked right out of the box. Connected it to my home theater receiver and my ceiling mounted projector, turned it all on and the image immediately showed up on screen.

I've been using it for about a month now and there have been no problems at all.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you turn on your projector before turning on the HDMI wireless transmitter or you home theater receiver your projector may cycle on and off until it receives the video signal. Mine does this but it's not a problem. I can just make sure the home theater receiver and Bluray player are turned on first if I'm concerned about the extra wear and tear on the projector bulb.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Worked as expected. I need to operate three of these at the same time, so I purchased two to see if there was any interference. The only time they interfered with each other was when one receiver was sitting directly on top of the other. Move them apart a few inches and all is good. Buying the third one now.

Cons: None yet
