- BEWARE: DO NOT plug the 39’ coaxial cable to either of the TV outputs on the power supply to avoid the risk of a short circuit
- Power supply/control box should be kept 3 feet away from the TV to avoid signal interference. Switch off when not in use.
- For better signal reception, please install TT-OA01 as high as possible, preferably with no high buildings around it. Different Terrain may lead to different signal reception.

1 out of 5 eggsCheaply made

Pros: seems to bring in channels ok

Cons: cheaply made, wire came out of control box before I could even hook it to TV.. Rotates ok sometimes but rarely goes the direction you want and when it does it may or may not stop when you want it, then next time it won;t rotate at all... sending it back would not recommend to anyone...Get a good one, may cost more but will work better. Also there is no way to know which way it is pointing or which way it is turning unless you are actually watching it.. No indicator inside at all. Apparently cannot give it zero eggs so gave it one .. but not really that good.

1 out of 5 eggsOverrated, overly hyped-up

Pros: Lightweight. Not much to list.

Cons: No difference with non-amp rabbit ear antennas.

Other Thoughts: Wasted my time, money, and effort. That means, additional purchases for cable, mast, etc..

2 out of 5 eggsUnless you're in an urban area, don't waste your money

Pros: Easily assembled, easily set up

Cons: 100 mi my eye.....our tv stations are 45 mi as the crow flies, all on the same mountain, & antenna wont pick up half of em....My old, broken antenna does much better. rotator works, but randomly....when you push a button (doesn't matter which one), it may turn one way, may turn the other. Also, since it has no directional indicator, it either takes two people, or a whole lot of guessing to get it pointed the right way.

Other Thoughts: I'd send it back, but return shipping would be almost as much as what the thing cost, so I guess I'll chalk this one up as 'lesson learned'

3 out of 5 eggsWorks OK, barely

Pros: Signal is strong; nice to have two outputs: simple set up: the amplifier boosts the signal over a simple passive antenna

Cons: I like this antenna, I really do, but the rotator drives me crazy. You push one button and it goes clockwise, you might think the other button would reverse the rotation; sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. TOTALLY RANDOM ROTATION DIRECTION! It was hard to believe at first but you can press the same button and it will change directions...sometimes.

Other Thoughts: If the rotor worked better I would give it five stars.

4 out of 5 eggsJust enough

Pros: Very lightweight, small size, low price. This antenna is ideal for attic installations. Just enough signal boost to improve marginal signals.

Cons: Nothing major but amplified signal only has about 3db gain over a tabletop directional antenna sitting next to it. This was enough to give me a reliable signal on my weakest station but don't expect new stations. Avoid using the rotor if you can, you can't tell where it's aimed unless you can see it.

Other Thoughts: Be careful handling since it is a bit fragile. Do not over tighten screws, just snug is ideal. Don't put a splitter between the amp and antenna since there is DC power on the coax.

1 out of 5 eggsTaoTronics?

Pros: Looks boss. Rotation works nicely.

Cons: Doesn't work for me, at all, to pick up stations. Many fewer channels than another flat-type un-amplified model from another brand.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: My daughter currently cannot afford satellite, cable TV, or Internet other than cell phone. With rabbit ears she could watch only two stations. With purchase of this antenna and installation indoors, she now gets 18 channels. The grandchildren have now become PBS kids.

Cons: About as cheap an antenna as you can make and have it still work. Yes, they should have spent a few extra pennies and made a rotator that turns slower and not "random directional".

Other Thoughts: You can tell just by looking at the design that it is going to work, so don't hesitate.

3 out of 5 eggsAmplified TV Antenna

Pros: Good signal reception when I can point it in the right direction (see cons). Got 15 stations where I got none without it.

Cons: Very poor rotaion system. Almost unusable. It doesn't really have direction control. the remote hs 2 buttons, but when you push them you can't depend on which way it will rotate. It is VERY HARD to home in on some of the stations that are far away.

Other Thoughts: I think I'l put on a different rotator that I have used before to fix that problem.

1 out of 5 eggsTao Tronics TT-OA01 Antenna

Pros: It's $35 indoors on the 2nd floor it pulled in about 44 channels. about 2 or 3 more than my home built coat hanger antenna which is unamplified would pull in. the bad Chinese-English instructions were sparse and cryptic , but adequate.

Cons: The power supply/rotor control unit was also rattling. I took it apart (4screws one of which is under the QC sticker; this voids the warranty) one of the power transformer mounting tabs had broken loose in shipment; not good. I hot glued the transformer down. There is no line fuse, or breaker. This makes the product unsafe in my opinion. The rotor function is useless as if mounted in the attic or on the roof you can only guess which way the antenna is pointed. I have to rate it 1 star for safety, other wise it would be a 4 star product.

3 out of 5 eggsTaoTronics TT-0A01 Amplified Antenna

Pros: Pick up channels that I haven't been able to pick up with other amplified TV antennas. Can be used in door as well. But would look out of place with TV.

Cons: Not really designed to with stand hash weather. The power unit coaxial connector for the power cable connection, came loose causing intermittent power to the Antenna.
