We offer free phone support and a 2 year warranty, so if you haven't already, please contact our support team at (800) 255-4101 Option 5, and they can help troubleshoot if it is a configuration issue or swap out the units if one is defective. The instructions should have come in a multilingual format, with English as the primary language. If that was not the case, could you email me at socialsupport@zyxel.com and tell me the language of the instructions and provide me the serial numbers of the units so we can look into how the wrong documentation got in the box?

Pros: plug and play

Cons: After purchase one month, I setup work flawlessly, however last night it stop working, I keep reset it, it still not working.

Pros: Works great once setup, better speed than old AV200 tech, great value for the price, works with my old AV200 units on devices where speed is not critical

Cons: Quick startup guide not in english, requires firmware/software update out of the box for optimal performance.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and download the English user guide, latest firmware, and software (works with Win 10) from the company's website. After that setup and functionality are great. The web utility and hardware utility are straightforward. Speeds consistent 50-60MB/s which in real world are excellent. Also covered a dead spot on the side of my house opposite my router nicely in the 5GHz range.

Pros: Wifi faster than wire..

Cons: Wired connection is so slow its not funny. The claim was UPTO 500mbps. I was getting a speed of 6Mbps when my Comcast connection speed at the router shows 130+ Mbps speed in my speed tests.

Other Thoughts: If i could give negative stars that is what i would give this product. Extremely disappointed with the performance.

Pros: Client's smart TV kept dropping connection/buffering over WiFi because it was at the far end of a large ranch style house from the access point. Plugged these in and she was up and running in minutes. Seriously, setup was a breeze!

Pros: So far after a month things are working. I did update the firmware. Yes the guide is not in English but who cares, this is not rocket science and the folks make a big deal out of nothing.

Now I will admit it's a bit more than warm. Not hot to scorch your fingers but yes it's some heat coming of this thing (the wireless adapter). Far as speeds goes, again WHO CARES?

I'm tethering from my phone to an linksys ac1200 wifi range extender to this product and I have no issues. I'm a pc gamer, heavy streamer, and this kit handles like a champ. Also what's cool is the wireless can run in b,g, and n modes.

Cons: A little heat

Pros: Connected well. I had an issue but Tech support was very good. It was me, not the product. At the end of my network, I needed an access point for my bedroom and with two RJ45, I hooked up my Roku, used the other for my network cable and got the wifi for my iPad. Setup and using WPS worked well.

Cons: I had to look up the English instructions

Other Thoughts: I didn't have any issues with using my APC surge protecters even though it suggested not too.

Pros: Worked well (while it lasted).

Cons: Included software is horrible and has many problems on Windows 7 and above. I had to use my other powerline vendor's software to configure the Zyxels. After getting it configured, it worked well for a couple weeks until the smaller adapter died. There are no lights when plugging it in... it is dead. The other piece (with the wireless) still works if I join it to my other Powerline network.

Pros: none

Cons: returned the product. unable to connect even when in the same room.
