Pros: It's cheap.....

Cons: There is no tech support from wansview at all. You are basically on your own. If it fails (mine was DOA) you might as well put it to use as a paper weight. The forums are somewhat knowledgeable but don't expect immediate feedback and hope that it's correct info. You get what you pay for. Save yourself the headaches and spend the money on a good product.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. Save yourself the headaches and spend the money on a good product.

1 out of 5 eggsNCB541W

Pros: The camera works fine when connected via ethernet. The quality is really good and i love the fact that you can move it around.

Cons: The wireless feature on the other hand doesn't work. In order for it to work you need to have an un-secure router and even then when it finally connects you still can't access it . I have tried finding an email or forum to deal with the issue NO Way possible. I'm keeping only because i can use it for inside the house but ether then that pew!

4 out of 5 eggsTypical low end camera

Pros: Low cost camera.
Has alarm connections that can be used.
Default ip address is in range of most default home networks.
Pan and tilt works good, faster than some.
Solid wireless connection maintained.

Cons: Weak insensitive ir operation.
Fairly granulated images, usable but could be better.
No MAC address on the label.

Other Thoughts: Most of my cameras are fixed lens type but when the price of the PTZ cameras came down I decided to try a couple of them for my security setup. There are a zillion different PTZ cameras that all have the same specifications and most of them have no reviews. This is the second one, my first being a Loftek. I think the video and the ir works a little better on the Loftek and it was about ten dollars more money. This camera is about par with these bottom end cameras. The mechanism is a little tighter than my Loftek which I think might vibrate in the wind since the cameras are mounted under a porch roof outside. This camera was easy to set up, I just plugged it into my switch, typed in the ip address in my browser and I was in. Would I buy another one of these? I would probably try another to see if I can find a gem, but really I bet they are all about the same. I will probably spend the extra ten dollars on my next camera since the image quality was a little better with the other camera I bought.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks quite well

Pros: I used my own ddns. They made the setup pretty easy. I'll buy again. I didn't use the audio, though.

Cons: No problems with it.
