It has two parts: the hand grip/tripod with a ¼-inch screw adapter for cameras, and a ¼-inch smartphone holder adapter. It allows you to comfortably shoot video one-handed, convert into a tabletop tripod, and even hold your smartphone on your car's air vent. The 180-degree multi-position tilt angle allows you to adjust to your preferred angle, while the velvet rubber finish and pistol-formed handle offer a comfortable hand grip.

Two-parts structure for versatility The SG-100 Smart Grip is composed of two parts. The first part is the hand grip/tripod that is used for both one-handed camera video capture and turning into a tripod with fold-out legs for use as a stable platform. The second part is the smartphone adapter that holds a smartphone comfortably in space, and attaches to the hand grip/tripod with the ¼-inch screw mount. The ¼-inch mount smartphone adapter is versatile to fit on any tripod compatible device like a full-sized tripod. Additionally, the included attachable car vent prongs allow the smartphone adapter to fit on a car's dashboard air vent for easy viewing.

I din't expect it to work so well. It's got so many uses which individually would warrant the price tag, the combination of all those make this a steal. Cons: The lack of any sort of instructions booklet. I figured everything out myself, but it was kind of annoying not having any instructions. Haven't used it with my cell phone but the holder seems stable enough. Cons: best used with a delayed timer. using with the shutter alone, camera shake could be an issue.
